IF MW2 never existed , what would happen ?

Would there be a different game from IW ? Would BFBC2 get all the hype ? Would quickscopes , no-scopes , nukes and throwing (throwing-knife-across-the-map-and-hitting-a-person) knives kills disappear off the face of the earth ?

One thing for sure is , there wouldn't be anymore rambling and raging over MW2 .

Hermits would still like IW somewhat more than they do now.

there would have been less hype for BC2

i would have piece and quiet and not hear on every gaming board on how modern warfare 2 sucked or how the game is noobish compared to the old ones

same goes for mass effect 2

Activision would be broke, or Treyarch would have made another (crappy) one.

Jason West and Vince Zampella would still have jobs and Bobby Kotick wouldn't be so utterly convinced that being a s*** is the way to be a videogame publisher.

Bad Company 2 would have all of the hackers and I would be sad. I hate the game, but Modern Warfare 2's existence is a gift from the gaming gods. Now hopefully Infinity Ward realizes, 'Oh wait. Activision is just a bunch of d-bags, let's leave and make a new IP like we want to and stop being they're dirty little money whore.'

I'd still regard Infinity Ward as a intelligent, innovative, thoughtful and creative group of people.

If Modern Warfare 2 never existed, I'd still hate Infinity Ward for Modern Warfare. Other developers' games that were created as a response to MW2 would likely cease to exist. The world of 'hardcore' gamers would be a slightly less angry one.

Same here, but if the MW franchise didnt exist I dont think any of those games would have existed. But we are talking about MW2 but still those two games would have been different
