Since we all know the PS3 40GB is coming out in Nov, I think PS3 will not sell well in this month because buyers will be waiting for the price drop which takes place after october..unless I am really behind and the price drop already took place.
I highly doubt it. The ps3 is getting a price drop in Nov. I believe. Not to mention in the September NPD was based on 5 weeks, and the ps3 sold 119k, and I think October is only a 4 week month.
I think it'll break 200,000 in november, but not due to R&C getting AAA. It's gonna be the beginning of the holiday shopping season plus a price cut, although AAA games won't hurt :wink:
I recall a similar boost in Amazon sales for the previous PS3 price drop and it still didn't outsell 360 and WIi. It may hit 200k but that's still behind the competition, and sort of bad considering we're entering the holidays.

the price cut was announced 2 days ago(i think) and it will be effective immedietly. read the news...

No, it will help sell systems but the new $400 PS3 comes out in Nov so PS3 sells will probably suck in OCtober. Expect monster sales for PS3 in November, I mean MONSTER. I expect monster sales from all three systems in November.
