If sony brought back CJ and San Andreas to the PS3 next gen-ness, EXCLUSIVELY

if they brought back the same mood, same cheat code but bigger world and continuation of story or something...with the same feel of the PS2 GTASA...What do you think people would do? I'm thinking PS3 seller. No, I don't mean a remake or a port...I mean a sequel. I mean think of GTA4 but in San andreas with an even bigger map and more cars and more everything. I mean a continuation not a remake.

no. san andreas needs a prequel. too much happened before it actually started.

EXACTLY...i loved the whole gang theme at the beginning, i really wanted to know more about grove street and have adventures with them...look how that turned out

that's why i loved SR...it had a true gang feel to it and it's why i overall like the feel of the SR series more than the GTA series

Yeah, it'd probably push some consoles like MGSIV did in it's first month. Any exclusive GTA would.

CJ's story is over, he's traveled his path and all that would do is ruin him as a compelling character with a tale of his own. What makes GTA unique is all the greeat supporting characters, and the way the world comes together to bring you tales from the GTA world without DBZing one characters tale far after it should have been over.

I do think they will remake Vice City, and eventually a very large, grandiose San Andreas with remade locales and all the next gen trimmings. It definitely won't be exclusive (well, it could be if MS or SonyREALLY wanted, like above 50 mil wanted), and it definitely won't be the same.

I would rather have Vice City 2, easily my favorite city in all of GTA.

Ahhhhh! Dave Chappelle brings back memories. I wish that show was still on, or at least lasted another couple of years. There is a real dearth of good sketch comedy out there now.

I'm actually getting pretty tired of big-budget games, they make me very pessimistic about the future of the gaming industry; as does the profit-over-gamer happiness business model. San Andreas was a great game, and cost less to make than GTAIV; I say leave it where it is and just do a re-release on the new consoles with no updates except to framerate.

When CJ moved away I don't think he was any older than 16... A prequel wouldn't really do him much justice.

SA was an amazing game, but definitely not the best. Vice City is unanimously the most favorite for most people I know, while GTA IV has reviewers loving it for the mature, polished direction it went in. So, SA isn't the best, but its still good.

I think Rockstar and other companies should start re-releasing their old games on PSN and XBLA, remastered at 1080p (if possible) and 60FPS. I think Vice City and San Andreas rereleases could enjoy decent sales. They should at least do it for the 360, since its architecture is so similar to the PC anyway.

I really dont understand all the love for VC bein shown here, it was better than than GTA:III by far but compared to GTA:SA it was very limited in scope although i will admit Tommy Vercetti was a very likeable character.

I still play SA to this day so it doesnt really bother me if R* do or do not do a sequel/remake, if they did though i would defo buy it over a VC game.

In the Jet of course the best vehicle in the game SA rules VC sucks and i have no idea why people rate it over SA its almost insulting lol.

Despite what some people may think; developers do not care about fully exploiting a platform. They care about money, judging GTA's last development budget; the game won't make it as a exclusive any more.

one could hope but exclusives for third parties are dying its all about multiplat. And I would rather Tommy V than CJ though.
