to make an ultimate console using only what is available from the new gens, what would you want included from each console and what would definately be something that should be left out?

From the PS3 I would want the Blu-Ray player.  From the 360 I would want the Live implementation & achievement system.  From the Wii,  well, nothing really, (Mario games I guess???).

lol that would be nice to have all the games on one system however never will happen and if it did there would be alot of fights on how it should be and i think it would be a very weird system.

A Blu-Ray machine that plays games, will run Windows Vista, and has motion sensing...

And a Smash Brothers Game with Master Chief, Jak and Kratos...

That would be a horrible idea. The console would cost $700 to include everything each company wanted. Games would be expensive and cost around $100 a game cause what are you going to do? Go to another console and play games there? Yeah right, not in this monopoly.

I would want all of Nintendo's franchises on PS3 hardware with Xbox Live quality online, and Wiimote capabilities. Oh, and a reasonable price point.

Backward compatibility from all of them, Xbox Live, the Virtual Console, Wiimote with an option for the Xbox 360 controller instead of the classic controller, SD slot, PS3's hard drive, rumble, Xbox 360's hardware, all the games from each system, the Blu Ray and HD-DVD drives, USB ports, WiFi, Wii's price, DS and PSP connectivity, Xbox Live Arcade, and Wii's size. Of course, it would never happen and could be infinitely expensive, but it would still rule.

And some non-Nintendo 3rd party characters would be cool...

Dante, Marcus, Yoshimitsu, Ayane...

I agree with the stuff here, I'd buy that the second it came out.

If nintendo sony and microsoft collaborated into a single video games division then it would pretty much be a monopoly, and thus illegal in the United States

Did I read that correctly? You just said the Wii overheats.

Do you...have a Wii?

I'm pretty sure he means that the Wii doesn't overheat, while the other consoles do, so it's a trait he wants carried over. A collaborated console between all three companies would definitely be great, and even if the console itself was more expensive than the PS3, it would most likely be cheaper than buying the Wii, 360, and PS3, plus peripherals for each. I'd definitely buy it if it came out. Maybe Sega could start making consoles again when this happens so technically it won't be a monopoly. :D
