if either sony or xbox buys it will be a turnin point in this console war :o.

I agree. It won't be a decisive blow but it will be a huge turning point. If anyone needs the turn of momentum it's Sony and I do hope they make the move for Rockstar at least(I'm thinking if take two is sold, the different divisions will be sold off separately)
i hope sony gets it also not for gta but for 2k sports. well that would be best for me but for sony they would want gta and many consumers would buy gta on ps3.
LOl Sony is lossing big on the PS3 and still lossing on the PSP, they are in no postion to write a multi billion dollar check. MS will win the Bid, and Take Two knows it, why you think Sony nor Rockstar has officialy announced GTA4 for PS3? all they have is a PS3 logo on thier website which will be taken down right after MS buys them.
I'm thinking MS wins it, but it could go anyway. Oh man, imagine if Apple came in, bought it, made a console, and made GTA exclusive. :lol:fatzombiepigeon

hm... selling a few million ps3 is lossing? and a couple of million PSPs is losing? u have to remember that ps3 costs 600, 600 times a few million and psp is 200?, 200 x couple of million. Do the math Microsoft has just windows, they make alot of money. but sony makes TVs, Stereos, MP3 etc.. etc.. Go to anybodies house, 1/5 will have a sony TV. 98% of north america owns at least 3 sony products. Just do the math.

I haven't seen anything official but if take2 goes does that mean rockstar goes also??? Still take2 has a ton of other titles they publish and develop so it would be a major purchase for MS.
On the other hand that also means a giant gap for games on the wii and ps3 which would give room for a new developer to blossom. I know GTA will sell well this gen but I just don't see it being the killer app it was last gen.
