No, I am threatening to QUIT GAMING FOREVER if the 360 doesn't win. I hope Microsoft is reading this, because I am not BSing. I would probably not want to talk to anyone for a couple days if the PS3 ever overtakes the 360. I would definitely stop reading systems wars, and I would not pay a dime to $ony, and I would try to find a new hobby, like remote control cars. It would just not be worth it to continue gaming if MS loses. Â

I'm sure the execs at Microsft have taken note of your post and are working to change their video game business model as we speak.
Seriously, it is just not worth it if the 360 loses, especially to the PS3. I will seriously be depressed if the 360 loses, and I will quit gaming forever. It just can't lose, it can't. accameron
Dude, you should stop blindly following a corporate monster like Microsoft and realize that the 360 is JUST a video game console. There's no need to be so melodramatic about it, there'll be video games long after this one's gone.Â
If my fav. console doesn't win the race I'll stop eating for months as penitence, so I feel ya.tegovoltio

Actually, I would probably lose my appetite for a couple weeks once news hit that the 360 lost, and I would probably lose around 20-30 pounds. I lost that much before, when I found out that the PS3 costs $600- I literally couldn't eat for a long time and got really skinny because of it. Sony ruined my life when I heard that. Hyper-stress and worrying runs in my family. Â

*puts on sarcasm goggles* Yeah it'd sure be a shame to lose something as great as micro-transactions for games I've already bought!

Exactly.
The PS2 was the most popular console last gen....I still enjoyed my Xbox and still is my prime console to this day. I expect the same experience happening when I get the 360 soon.
The Wii is popular right now and I'm just  at it and still enjoying Xbox games that put 99% of Wii games to shame

Nice knowing you fanboy. Fanboys will be missed around here with this GUFU infested politically correct utopia.

haven't you made one of these threads before?
But seriously, I know it would be terrible for the 360 to lose to the overrated console or the inferior console (actually you could say that about both the ps3 and Wii). But don't worry about it.
u might want to start packing it or slow down so your not super-depressed it will be beaten by the wii and or ps3 as they fight it out and the 360 will be in a compyh second place due to a minor lack of variety. sales predictions:
wii:75-100million
360: 30-40million
ps3:70-80 million

I mean, I wouldn't do anything like that, but I usually get really upset easily, and something like the 360 losing would affect me in a really big way. All I really talk about with my friends at school and my parents are the console race- I probably spend more time talking about it than actually gaming. All of my friends like to argue about the console race, but I know that the 360 will win, i know it. If the 360 loses, I would be so ashamed, I just have too much invested emotionally for it to lose, it would be such a big loss. Â
The Wii will beat it by far and PS3 probably by a decent margin...... so bye forever. And why does it even matter at all? Xbox appeases it's fanbase very very well..... why should you care if that fan base isn't the majority?
Lazy_Boy88
Wii sales will slow down. Also, the game attach rate is higher on 360. The developers have already supported the 360 completely. It will be extremely tough for Sony or Nintendo to beat MS.Â

Well it's like that, once you get involved into this you put your life on the line.Â

Gaming is my life. I go to sleep at night thinking about awesome 360 games, and how great it will feel to own the winning console. It's really all I talk about all day long. Â

That's a pretty dumb thing to say.
I love the 360 and truly believe it may be the best console ever made [except that it does have a high failure rate.]Â The early game collection, dashboard, online, controller, etc, are all tops.Â
But why does "winning in sales" matter to you? Do you own stock in MS? All I care about is the 360 doing well enough that it keeps First Party titles and gets all the multiplats - and maybe steals a few exclusives as well. But who cares about sales as long as it sells enough to keep the games coming? Don't listen to the fanboys in here. The PS2 easily won in sales last year. Sony fans never got a chance to even celebrate.... the PS3 was doing too poorly for them to celebrate.

It's not worth quitting something you enjoy over how much your favorite console sells.
