If The 7th Gen made a Comeback, and You Could Only Buy One Console, Which Would You?

Imagine that Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo do away with this generation, and bring back the previous. If you could only buy ONE of the consoles from that time, which one would it be?

Very tough choice, but I'd go with the 360. Gears of War, Halo, Forza etc.

Xbox 360 couldn't miss out on gears and halo and forza horizon.

Firstly the question is kind of on the dumb side.

PS3, it supports PS3, PS2 and PS1 games. Most compatible console ever.

360 only bc all the great exclusives on PS3 have to be played with that ultra shitty DS3.

I hate that controller and the 360 controller is probably the best controller ever made.

360. Best controller by a mile, great games, funky aesthetics, cheaper at launch, available earlier, best online gaming, media centre, kinect was still a plus.

Xbox 360 for me. Better controller, better online, many third party games performed better, and for the great first party games.

If I had no PC, then PS3 launch system. I had one, and it was great. If I have a PC, then the 360, hands down.

PS3 again, and again in every iteration.

PS3 no regrets. Rocky start but stellar mid-end.

PS3. Has incredible games including my favorite series; Uncharted.

I’d go with the Wii. I’ve got a pc for my other needs and the Wii was the most unique gaming experience ever. Had lots of flaws but so many memories were created with friends and family because of that console.

Of course lol. RDR looked great on Ps3 compared to 360 right? Oh.. and the online was better on PSN. Never said anyone.

Has some of my favourite games on, abd I find playstation controllers unusable.

Games like Mass Effect (assuming its back to 2005 id have to wait a long time for the series to come on PlayStation.

Bioshock, Gears of War, Halo, Forza, Lost Oddessy etc.

Online seemed to work better, and back then my console was my primary device for Netflix and Sky and streaming media direct from ky PC. The ps3 was too slow for Netflix, wasnt very compatible with Windows Media Center and its own file sharing never worked very well.

Only used the ps3 as a blu ray player.

PS3 because it had full BC and it eventually had the best games of the gen. Demon's Souls alone was enough.

if i get to have a PC then the wii. PC/wii was one hell of a combo last gen. their libraries dont cross all that much either.

if i can only game on this one system and the PC is also not an option.....the PS3 (the 60GB launch version but with better build quality this time sony...please)....through gritted teeth. terrible hardware which led to an inferior version of the vast majority of multiplats, installs and generally longer loading times. poor controller too.

but its hard to argue with PS1 and 2 BC, free online and some great exclusives of its own backed by support from 3rd parties.

PS3 because I would kill to play Resistance Fall Of Man online again. Amazing game that Lems like to ignore.

Worst controller ever made ruined the console for me.

The Wii just happens to have good exclusive games I really enjoy but I barely if ever use the wand, I always stick to pro controller throughout it's cycle. My PC just takes care of everything I need and if I didn't have a PC to begin with, my next choice would be PS3 cause it does everything at the time.

Definitely the Xbox 360.

It had by far the best online service which was very important to me given that I no longer live in the same city as my friends, by far the best controller, the best version of most multiplats, and XBLA on the 360 was an excellent marketplace for retro-style games and indie games that you couldn't get on the PS3 and Wii.

Pretty sure because of this and the game library, I used my PS3 more than my PS4 even during this gen. For that reason, I'm inclined to say PS3>PS4, (while we're on the topic, X360>X1 as well imo).

I've gotten so much usage out of all three of them, so it's tough to say. I'll choose the 360 since I have the most games for it though.

The 60GB PS3. Multiplats were generally shitty compared to 360 but the PS3 had the exclusives and bc with PS1 + PS2 = win.

360. It was the one I spent the most time with and I really don't regret that, I think it was my favorite from that gen.

If we include the Nintendo DS in the mix, well, then it might get difficult to give you a final answer.
