What would you think of this? Would you get a Wii if this happened?

No. No way.
I hate using the nunchuck to throw nades in FPS's. In Uncharted Drakes Fortune I also find using the Six Axis for grenades is a pain.
I wouldnt buy it, first i dont even have a Wii, second, ONLY ON XBOX. I hope you saw that!almahdi08PC my friend.
i would buy it for my wii if that happeneddarkspineslayerSame, but as a Wii owner I dont really want any more ports. More developers need to focas on the Wii.

I like it! It just took a bit getting used to.
Yeah, sounds like Godofnerdyness isn't open to his gaming world changing at all.

Yeah, they did that with RE4 too.
And Bungie is no longer attached to Microsoft as they once were, so...
So... microsoft still owns the rights to Halo and has an exclusive publishing deal with bungie. So... nothing. :P
That sounds pretty cool. Actually pointing your gun and actually throwing grenades and what not in a console FPS. Then again, who actually points their guns and throws grenades in real life? lol, that's so unrealistic. t3h gimmick!
Who wants realistic gameplay if you can have realistic graphics? lolololol.

It's true.
I'd be laughing my way to the store though if they made a Halo game exclusively for the Wii that involved a totally new storyline and game.
Oh, and yes, Halo is mediocre, but it is an icon of popularity these days.
Though I do think the wii controls could help it.

I dont think it would work on the Wii. It's too fast-paces, especially in multiplayer. Can you imagine charging someone down with an AR, finishing them with a melee, spinning around and then tossing a frag grenade under a warthog? On the wii-mote? I just cant see it happening.Ninja-Hippo
Unless Halo 3 is significantly slower than Halo 2 and Halo, it seems possible to me. Haven't played Halo or Halo 2, though, so meh.
i already own halo 1 and halo 2 sucked so why would I buy them again for the wii?
only games like okami that can be drastically enhanced should be ported over to the wii.

Not with that control scheme... just look to Metroid Prime 3 and Medal of Honour Heroes 2, controls like that with Halo and I'd get it!

wii FPS controls are much more sensitive and fast then console dual analog controls. It would work i think
if the online was very good... maybe..
actually.. no. i wouldn't.. but it could be a great online game for wii owners.. with far better controls than xbox
No. The wii still has crap graphics and the remote still sucks. I have halo 1 for the PC and it was ok at best. Wasn't good enough to keep my interest. No matter what game you put on the wiii. The wii is still the wii. A underpowered last gen casual gamers console.Move and turn with the Joystick - Directional pad to Strafe - Swing the Nunchuck to throw grenades, aim with the Wiimote and fire with the "B" button and the "Z" button.

that is a terrible scheme
the wiimote is too innacurate for online fps's
mistervengeance
not at all.. the wiimote is FAR more suited for fps than the dual analogue controller.

Worked great online in Metal of Honor Hero's 2

that may be true, but the shakiness of one's hands leads to decreased accuracy, also, pressing the B button over and over on the wiimote is tiring, while pressing a trigger on a DA controller is not.I dont think it would work on the Wii.
