Right for myself i would look at it like

For the PS3 (being japanese pretty damn reliable and very powerful) =  Nissan GT-R

For the Xbox 360 (american and at times known for breaking down) = Ford GT40

And the Wii...... Well thats a Vauxhall Astra (No where near the best however popluar and seems that everyone has one)

I was going to put the Wii as a Prius, however I didn't want to offend Prius and their drivers 

XBOX 360: Ford Taurus

PS3: Hyundai Genesis

Wii: Suzuki SX4 Crossover

PS3 = Ferrari F430. The status symbol among gamers. Expensive, but loaded with high end tech and features. Pretty darn fast as well.

Xbox 360 = Corvette Z06. Not exactly among the high end in terms of tech and luxury, but it's a much cheaper alternative and capable of beating some of the best Italian supercars (even the F430 in some areas)

Wii = Honda Civic. It's cheaper than the other two (Arcade nonwithstanding) and much more fuel efficient but doesn't provide the same visceral thrills the Z06 and F430 deliver. It gets the job done in a pinch, but don't expect an experience to call home about.

PC = Bugatti Veyron. Insanely fast and loaded to the gills with high end tech. The highest performing car out there, if you're willing to pay through the nose.

PS: Yes I know the SSC Ultimate Aero beat the Veyron's record as the fastest production car in the world but it doesn't do it with nearly as much style and panache.

Consoles- Just plain fun that anyone can enjoy at the anytime, they do not offer all that real cars do, but they are easy to use and can be very affordable. 

Wii-Smaller CC

Ps3-Large CC

Xbox 360-Off road CC

Real Car

PC-it can go faster than the go carts, and out perform than in all categories, yet it does cost more and is for more experiences and serious drivers because of the knowledge it requires. The selection is great and you can add mods to to to make it greater. 

wii = SMART car - compact innovative 360 = Ford focus PS3 = Honda Civic PC = Anything from a morris minor to a mclaren F1 from a ford model T to a Formula one racing car.4u70

i think i like this definition the best.  

comparing a $200 Xbox to an $80,000 sports car was getting a little ridiculous.   

The PC seems to me to be an Ultima GTR.  It's not as expensive as you think it is, but to get that decent price you need to purchase 10-15 different boxes and get crankin'. Get it prebuilt? Yeah, that's gonna cost you. The end result can only be described as a mixture of eccentric and obscenely powerful.

The PS3 has to come from TVR. It's powerful, sleek, slightly alien, and once you harness it's power, fast. Quite fast. When working on it, though, you can't help but get the impression it exists only to murder you.

The 360? I can think of it as a recent M Beemer. Maybe an E46. Powerful and capable, ultimately maybe with less potential than a TVR, it's insanely easier to do something worthwile with it. This one seems propense to blowing a gasket or two on the third lap of the race, though.

The Wii? I don't know, a Prius? Definitively not even close to the competition in the "performance" area, but it's popular, resonates with people yet can alienate enthusiasts, and it's saving grace -hardwarewise- is in a technological gizmo, which happened to touch a nerve of the general population.

Hmm. Now that you mention it, that's not a bad comparison at all. Except the GT-R does have quite a bit of issues with the transmission. That Launch Control is too much for the car, it seems.
