It wouldn't be a handheld anymore, it would just be another Sony phone. I already have a phone.

What I'm saying is that there is a VERY fine line between handheld and phone. When I can talk to friends for free during a game, that's just teamspeak. When I have to pay a provider for a service that usually comes free with the device, that's a phone and I don't want to pay for it. (Which, now that I think about it, they did with the 3G.)
