If the Vita doubled as a phone would you be more inclined to buy it? I certainly would. Infact I find it rather stupid that Sony did not include this functionality. Discuss

Revolutionize? Someone forgot about the N-Gage.
Is that the ngage(sp?)?[QUOTE="Cherokee_Jack"]
No.

Yeah, funny thing is it's small compared to the Vita.
They should of made the physical controls detachable to act as a smallish phone. Potential, but too late.
The joke use to be your putting a taco to the side of your head. And you had to take out the batteries to change games. Except the model in that photo is the QD, which has an easier access cartridge slot and no more side talking (not to mention being smallee, more ergonomic, and having way better controls).[QUOTE="lbjkurono23"] Is that the ngage(sp?)?HarlockJC
It wouldn't be a handheld anymore, it would just be another Sony phone. I already have a phone.
What I'm saying is that there is a VERY fine line between handheld and phone. When I can talk to friends for free during a game, that's just teamspeak. When I have to pay a provider for a service that usually comes free with the device, that's a phone and I don't want to pay for it. (Which, now that I think about it, they did with the 3G.)
