Can someone explain to me why motion sensing controllers are any more gimmick-y than graphics?  xbox and ps2 uprgrade graphics, Wii upgraded to motion sensing.

Watching a commerical where its shows someone using a wii-remote is no different than showing a commerical showing off outstanding graphics.  The goal of both is to have the consumer "buy on impulse" by either saying "Swing the controller to swing a sword, sweet!" or "Look at the those amazing graphics, I gota have that!"

Truth is, motion sensing and graphics BOTH can have a profound effect on a games quailty, but at the same time, can be used to snag people into buying the game on impulse.

OK, enough.  I hate how ALLLLL sheep simply push aside graphics as they're not important.  They are important to many people and I like playing good games that look good also.

 And why in the world do all sheep seem to think that "Oh since the Wii has the Wii-mote it automatically has the best gameplay!!  This is absolutely ridiculous and you have been brainwahsed by Nintendo or something.  The Wii-mote doesn't ALWAYS produce the best gameplay.  And if it did.................Well then answer me this.  Why do you have to own a different controller to play SSBB (one of the biggest if not the biggest game coming out for the Wii) and why does Paper Mario not take advantage of the Wii-mote either. 

These games are extremely hyped (AAA of course) and....wait.....what is this.....Uh-oh, two of the biggest games for the Wii  not using the Wii-mote (WHICH IS THE MAIN SELLING POINT OF THE SYSTEM AND THE REASON YOU BUY A WII).  They're gameplay is gonna really suck huh......You might as well be playing a Gamecube.

you mean like zelda? you mean like excite truck? you mean like cod3? you mean like madden 07? like smp? like mp3? like brawl? heres the truth... there are 5 minigame based games on wii. rayman, wii sports, super monkey ball, cooking mama, and warioware. and a couple bad ubi ports and games (red steel is very fun, despite its score, btw). yet these few games seem to represent the entire wii game library? using that logic lets look at the 360...

Fanboy alert.... sorry but your equation there is a bit off... allow me to fix and explain.

360 = Wii > Bat to the nuts > Ps3

1. You see.. the 360 is easily as good in graphics as the ps3... if not better. Yes that will change once devs have a better understanding of the ps3's hardware, But it will be too late.

2. The Wii... its simply more fun. I have what is called Real Life friends that like to come over and play the Wii. I would never see that happening with the ps3 or the 360 (Bare in mind i Own a 360)

3. The Wii's gameplay is what makes 360 = Wii.

4. The bat to the nuts? Less painful to me than Sony stabbing my thigh where my wallet once had a home, Ultimatly impaling my balls... and possibly killing me... but definatly making it impossible for me to have kids, therefore less people to defy the mighty ps3 empire.

IF the Wii is a GC with a gimmick, then the PS3 is getting outsold by said combo of gimmick and GC.

Which IMO is so funny it hurts.

I think you PS3 guys should go back to the arguments that:

1. Wii is not a gaming console... or

2.  Wii is not Next Gen.
