I don't believe the world will end in 2012, but it'll be sometime not long after that. They say that the pope after the current pope will be the last. We better hope the nazi youth pope in power now stays alive a long time. Then again, the way things are headed, we'll want to be raptured out of this hellhole.

All I know is that in 2012... I am not leaving my house... because even if the world doesn't end... all of the wackjobs of the world will be running around doing crazy things and all of the ignorant people of the world will be robbing retailers... so come late 2012, I will be in my basement with a shotgun, water, and MREs... Enough to last me through the remainder of 2012...

The Mayan calender is simply ending it's 13th cycle... people are just blowing it out of proportion... it has ended it's cycle 12 times before... we are simply ending the 13th and going into the 14th...

If the world ends in 2012, we will miss out on many things. I highly doubt it won't endand if it does it won't be for the reasons most people think (e.g. Mayan Calendar, Pole Shift, Planetary Alignment, bla, bla, bla.)

Which is very ironic to think about. Cuz then it would mean the mayans were right about the world ending, but at the same time if they wouldnt have predicted it the world would have never ended...weird.

And hey, who's to say this "ancient prophecy" wasn't said by a "random doof" in its time, and has been mindlessly repeated over the ages? What makes it more credible than a prophecy made up last week?

Tell a lie enough times and it becomes true. I guess the principle applies to prophecies as well.
