Lets face it, the only killer app sony has going for it this year is Unreal Tournament 3. Especially since Home is now delayed, no price cut and no cheaper 40 GB model you can rest assured that if the rumors come true about UT3 not releasing this year, Sony just might as well hang it up because that is the ONLY thing sony has going for it. Games that look good this year without any favoritism to my current console would have to go to these games:

1) Halo 3(360)

2)Mass Effect(360)

3) Crysis(PC)

4)UT3(PC)

I don't see Uncharted being a better game than Heavenly Sword (and not much longer either). Consequently, i see that hitting in around 7.5.

Haze...eh...it'll be a tough year for shooters not measuring up to the Crysis--Orange Box--Halo 3--UT3--CoD4 level of quality. It'll be lucky to get AA, which won't be enough to move units in a year filled with the greatness listed above.

R&C can stand on its own 2...but I don't know how many $500 consoles it can move by itself in the face of Mario Galaxy, Brawl and others on the less expensive Wii.

Link? Otherwise shut the hell up. And it will still come out this year, especially when the PC version is slated for an early November release. Still better then mid 08 either waylemkids and at least it will have all the features of the PC version, including all maps, something the 360 version will not have.

Naughty Dog are very consistent, so I expect this game to be AA like all the other great games they've made. 8.5 probably (might be too short).

Not really sure about the sales. The PS3 is still way too expensive. Sony seems to be keeping everything big for 2008.

Um.. is that because UT is going to be much faster and requires skills to play so some noobs can't handle it, have K&M suport (lol at autoaim), unique weapons and vehicles, >40 maps at start and probably like 140 in a month, customizable characters, best mod support ever (so people can make halo 3 mod with editor, like they did in ut2004), more gametypes, MUCH more ways to move around (double jump, dodge, wall jump, rocket jump, impact hammer jump ets), better graphix, artstyle and LOTS of blood and gore? Wow.

Iono, it pisses me off pretty bad that the 360 version of UT3 is in early 2008, but Halo 3 better than UT3? have you even played or researched any of the Unreal games? Halo will never be as good statistically as UT.

No REAL price drop, Home delayed, Rumble in US and Europein 7 to 9 months. I bought a PS3 for Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Heavenly Swordand for upcoming games and features. Now in hindsight, I should have waited until Spring or Summer 08.
