I think with the feed back they got from 13 & 14, they might realise what people actually want.

but i think that its too lateto change anything inverses , since itwas way into production when the others came out.

Also I think the big announcement is going to be FFXIII-2.

This thread/announcement would have carried way more weight if it was made BEFORE FF13 single handedly killed the FF franchise. I'm not so certain people really care about FF games anymore now that Square/Enix have run the franchise into the ground.

Actually, I don't really care if it goes multi-plat and I'm not really hyped for the game after 12-14 :/ I'll still get it due to the overall lack of JRPGs :S

well xiii wasnt that great to begin with so i dont see them making a direct sequel to it anyway, and there is only one time they put a -2 after a main ff game and it sucked ass, they would be better off doing a remake of an older ff instead of putting more time and effort into a crappy -2 game

I'd say it will go multiplat, especially with square releasing 13 in japan on 360 recently.

well then just about every shred of respect love and nostalgia i had for square is gone, i think lightning was about the only character i liked in xiii any bit and she was pretty much a female cloud, i couldnt even make myself finish that game and i presume if its -2 it will have most of the same characters in it. it shows you just how out of touch square has got if they think their fans want a direct sequel to that game

I'd be really surprised if it doesn't go multi. There's too much money to be made now for 3rd parties to stay exclusive.

That being said I hope it does stay exclusive. That way when it sucks as bad as all the FFs have for the last few years it can't be blamed on the 360 for it's flaws. Of course that raises the question of even if it sucks as bad as FFXIII would cows admit it sucks if it's exclusive? I'm guessing no.

On a personal note, they really need to retire FF for a few years and focus on other games. Where the hell is Kingdom Hearts 3? I mean a real KHs, not some phone, or gameboy version that's ported, but a real from scratch KHs for the PS3, and maybe the Xbox.

Splinter Cell Conviction is on PC.

I also believe it will be mulitplat. I don't really care either way though, great for the 360 only users of course.
I just hope they don't mess this one up as bad as they did with 13...

Three weeks ago I would have said multiplat, but now that I have a PS3 I'm hoping it's exclusive. I don't know what, if anything, would be cut if it went multiplat & would rather there be no risk. I mean, the game would have to be better in some way, even if it is just released quicker, if everyone is working on the one version instead of having to port it also, right?

I have a feeling it will be multiplat though. The thing is, Nomura said that it couldn't be done on the 360 ages ago. Maybe that was just his love for the PS3 showing. I have no problem with a multiplat release as long as nothing gets changed for the PS3 version, but we'll never know regardless, just like FF13.
