If you are a gamer - why would you not own a 360?

Its insane the amount of good games the 360 is getting. In the past couple months you have 5 AAA games out with another coming next week. (Halo3, AC, COD4, HLOB, Bioshock & Mass Effect next week). No other console is even close to the 360 this gen in terms of games. I just dont get how people can even argue this point. 360 games >>> PS3 or Wii games.

Halo 3 is ok, its not great to me, but its ok

AC and COD4 i can play on ps3

half life i already have on PC

bioshock doesnt look interesting to me

mass effect looks amazing however

buying faulty hardware thats most likely going to break on you eventually for 1 amazing game, and 1 ok game, isnt worth it, but thats my opinion.

For a gamer the 360 is the best platform, For a kid the Wii and for people that want to watch Blu-ray movies the PS3

The PC has Crysis , other than that I could care less. I played a 10 day trial of World of Warcraft and boy did that suck, I played it for 2 days and uninstalled it.

I had a 360 and sold it. I did not play it almost at all. Played gears, I had alot of fun with it but I am really tired of it as well. Mass effect is the only game that really interest me to the point of wanting a 360.

Why would I? I own a computer. Most good games that are on xbox 360 are on Pc. Also shooters have always been the strong point of xbox 360. No one who owns a computer wants to play shooters on a console.

I am getting one from my wife for Christmas......Because if Halo 3 and Mass Effect

I just wish it came with Wi-Fi I going to have to order a 100 foot cable

But there are really more games I am looking forward to on the Wii and PS3 that are coming out

While there is no denying the strength of the 360 library right now, I don't have the money right now to buy a 360 or PS3.

If I had the money now and wanted a console right now, you are right. 360 is the way to go. However, as a "gamer", if I may answer your question, I am, interested in having the most diverse and well rounded gaming experience i can have. That is why I consider the PS2 to be the best console of all time. Simply put, it had the largest and most diverse library by far. It seems that as great as the 360 library is, it is still lacking compared to the PS2.

If I start to see signs that the PS3 library is going to be more like the PS2, then I will hold out for the PS3. If not, then I would go with the 360.

The issue at hand is you are confusing REAL gamers with impetuous consumers who must buy something immediately. As a real gamer, I will agree that the 360 has a great lineup this gen, but it is still heavily lacking in the games I play the most (rpgs, strategy, action/adventure, etc).

That's such a wierd contradiction common in system wars. It was always bad for the Xbox to get PC ports, but it's great for PC to get 360 ports...

last time i chcked the gamecube had like 3 year life cycle with huge gamin draughts all over its lifecycle

the wii looks like its following suit after brawl comes out

ps1 lasted 10 years ps2 already doin great on its 8th thats fanstatic imo

console doesnt break down like the xbox console lifespan is huge unlike the wii

its the best of the both worlds imo

1. I had one but it broke in a week

2. I hated the online, online is filled with way too muny pubescant kids that get off when they win, especially in gears of war when the host has power over the players. I'd say that's a pretty big mistake and the microtransactions really really set me against it

3. I don't like the games and any that I do are on the PC

4. General microsoft environment makes it seem like all they want is my money without really delivering any substance

halo3? seen it done that with halo 2.

mass effect? okay something new.

bioshock was next gen half life but with superior atmosphere... very creepy, but gameplay wasn't groundbreaking.

cod4 was fun but not has revolutionary as every thinks.

ps2 games> nin ds > xbox 360 > ps3 > psp > wii

i haven't gotten a 360 cuz why i gota pay 300+ for a system that has a chance to breakdown, NO thanks.

and most of the good games are playable on the PC eventually.

so why even get xbox360? for one or two games maybe?

multiplayer halo3? jus play counterstrike, gameplay is superior.

Dead Rising= good game.

Forza 2= Jaggy racing.

if its electronic, it most defitnly has a chance to break. MAybe not as often as the 360(unless you're talkin bout the ps2) but it still has that chance.
