I still play Halo 3 regularly, and I am pretty good at it, I think thats what helps me enjoy it more than any other game-its online alone is top notch fun and the gameplay is still so fresh and the game came out in 07, when odst comes out it will make it even more fresh and Halo 3 needs to be more apreciatedrofflecopter_Your sig is hilarious, are there any other gifs of that type?

Agreed. The maps for the most part are pretty booboo too. :( Halo 2 had some of the best maps of all time IMO.

wrong. the better you get at halo 3, the more you will dislike it because only then you will notice all the BS in the game like : reload glitch, BR spread, overpower melees, lack of arena style maps, terrible spawn system, etc
Go to MLGpro.com and ask the competitive community of Halo 3 about what they think about Halo 3.
I loved and played Halo 2 religiously, it was fantastic, level 35 Team snipes and usualy had about a 3/1 KD in swat.
Halo 3 sucked. All it managed to do was destroy the halo 2 player base.

[QUOTE="death1505921"] look at your sig, your a pc gamerrofflecopter_And you are a tool. I also have an xbox 360 and Wii. I had an Xbox and a PS2 untill I sold them about a year ago. I played halo 2 on the xbox religiously all through 2006(ish) and built my first PC in Febuary 08. So no, I'm not a "PC gamer" I just have a pc gaming machine. Now go check my gametag, since I know you won't beleive me. "RabidDeathGnome". Shoo fanboy, back into your cave.

Yeah, average players are hitting max level, or just below. Kinda sucks. When you saw somebody 40+ in halo 2 it was insane.

The reason he doesn't want to play it is because he isn't good at it? Who would've guessed people don't have fun with things they're not good at :|

basically Being skilled at H3 isnt an achievement at all since it was more noob friendlylone wolves 44 and higher are vey skilledyeah Halo3 is awesome but I had played halo1 and halo2 MP for aaages! so I got over halo 3 quickly. but yeah I can understand how halo3 is exciting to newcomers. its a great game.Great_Ragnaroki had halo 1 from day 1,Halo 2 ovet 2000 games played ,Halo 3 2400 games played, and i still love it
The first Halo was the only good one of the series, after that it just went down hill after 100% of the focus was put on multiplayer and leet graphix instead of a good story and new gameplay.TenPerm halo 2 had dual wielding, vehicle hijacking, new weapons, a new health system that just has a shield with no health packs. overall halo2 made halo 1 more streamlined and smart. halo3 on the other hand feels like halo 2.5 IMO.

basically Being skilled at H3 isnt an achievement at all since it was more noob friendlylone wolves 44 and higher are vey skilled That's debatable. I'd bring up the auto aim debate but I can't be assed since you can't have a decent discussion on here without people becoming fanboys. But basicaly, there is very little "skill" involved in halo at all. It's just nade and aim roughly at shoulder level, and auto aim will take the rest. Its why if you get into a shoot out with two guys with a BR. You can tell who's going down first just because you will both 9/10 ALWAYS hit them in the head. Lone wolves 44+ are not very skilled, no where near. It just means they know the maps and how to hog weapons. Hell, to say the last 6 levels are the skilled people is pathetic for a start, it should be 35+ are good, 45+ are ****ing amazing, 20 are average, sub 20 is bad etc etc. Just double checked up my H2 stats and I played 1698 games. But yeah, I have a feeling rofflecopter is just running around looking for flamebait.erm halo 2 had dual wielding, vehicle hijacking, new weapons, a new health system that just has a shield with no health packs.Great_Ragnarok
Its campaign was also very unmemorable, just like Halo 3. Partly because the health system was screwed up.

H3 is trash H1 is still the best out of the 3 and H2 is close to it while H3 is the adopted child.[QUOTE="TenP"]The first Halo was the only good one of the series, after that it just went down hill after 100% of the focus was put on multiplayer and leet graphix instead of a good story and new gameplay.Great_Ragnarokerm halo 2 had dual wielding, vehicle hijacking, new weapons, a new health system that just has a shield with no health packs. overall halo2 made halo 1 more streamlined and smart. halo3 on the other hand feels like halo 2.5 IMO.
some of the changes you listed, were poorly executed and was for the worse IMO.

...or if you have a PC, which inherently makes Halo 3 come off as a B-rated game.Mehdi1984Oh snap! Too true, though.
*shrugs*
As excellent as its multiplayer is.
Its singleplayer is nothing short of *okay*; hell its mediocre at times especially compared to the variety of other shooters
That and it has some poorly implemented features, and some isses.
An AA game in my eyes.
The series is essentially a multiplayer one. Ever since Halo 2, singleplayer dropped at the expense of expanded multiplayer with greater focus.
