I use my Wii to play gamecube games in the bedroom. I will leave the PS3 in the living room next to the Wii U and the PC when I want to play the PC with a controller.
Wonder Woman is a douche.
Anyways....
I sold every thing I had. PS3 games, both 360's and games. I have always abandoned previous consoles when newer ones came out so I donated a 360 and traded everything else to Gamestop.
I got enough $ to get a XBONE and PS4 on launch day and paid off every game I wanted for the next year and then some....So I am good.
I'm waiting a full year before I make a purchase. By that time, I'll simply examine the libraries from each system and determine my purchase based almost solely on that.
Have said it before, and will say it again: Buying either system at launch would be a bad waste of good money.
When I get my PS4 I'll be putting it right next to my PS3/360 and unhooking my cable box from my receiver and plugging that into my TV directly. Eventually I'll be dumping the PS3 into storage but for right now I'll keep it to play GTA V.
I don't sell consoles, especially when they are only going to be worth a fraction of what I paid. I would rather be able to play old PS3 games than sell the thing for like $50.

That stupid shit is your comeback?
When that glorious X1 is sitting under my 4K TV, it is only fitting to cord slam my 360 onto the pavement.
Does X1 play 360 discs....nope- keeping it. Does PS4 play PS3 discs....nope- keeping it. Does Wii U play Wii discs.....yes but not Gamecube- keeping it. Cant believe how many people here honestly dont feel like theyd have the urge to go back and play the other system just because the new fancy hardware is coming out.
I am moving them to my computer room. I picked up an HDMI switch so I could plug in the 360 and PS3 into my 3D monitor. It will certainly be a fun room for any overnight guests! I wonder how much I will be getting on the old boxes... probably just when I want to replay the Halo or God of War games.
i have an original 20GB 360 which is not accepted for trade ins anymore. it has also RRODd once but somehow is still working (or was when i last checked). so that will be left in mothballs or maybe dropped off to a recycling center at some stage.
PS3 will be kept. its a 60GB model with PS2 compatability so i will hang onto it until sony release a handheld with PS2 and PS3 BC (though i imagine that will be done for all sony platforms through gaikai).
wii will be kept for GC games when i get a wiiu.
Still keep them connected. My PS2 Slim, original XBOX and GC are still connected, albeit via SDTV set.
With almost 40 games on my 360 HDD, and 29 on my PS3 HDD, and I haven't gotten to all of them yet. Not to mention discs, I'll be gaming on mine. Wont be getting a PS4 till next year sometime, and as much as I'm looking forward to next gen games, current gen is more than entertaining to me. I'm good.
I still have a crap load of games to play for my ps3:
God of War Ascension
Metal Gear Revengeance
Bayonetta
Valkyria Chronicles
Ni No Kuni
Dragon's Dogma Arisen
The Witch and the Hundred Knights
Ninja Gaiden Z
Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus
Dark Souls 2
South Park: Stick of Truth
Assassin's Creed 4
Kingomd Hearts 2.5
Final Fantasy X HD
They're memories which will last forever, I will encase them in gold, and treasure them for all times!

I don't own any consoles, so I really can't say. But with old PC hardware, I either sell it, or smash it to pieces for fun, if it's worthless. Guess I'd do the same with consoles.
I have an original 60gb backward compatible PS3 so I am holding on to that to play old PS games. The 360 I am trading in. I loved my xbox360 but there arent many games I can see myself playing again in a few years. Many of those games I have on steam. I keep all the games I like though. I have a growing classic games collection(mostly snes, n64, ps1)
I will be keeping my PS3 alongside my PS4. Might sell my 360 or give it to my brother. Not sure yet.

that cracked me up
I have a 32" Samsung 720p HDTV. Before I buy my PS4, I will be buying a 46"+ 1080p HDTV. When I do, I will move the 32" and the PS3 to my bedroom and set the new TV and the PS4 up in the livingroom.
I have 2 ps3's. The launch fat and the first slim. This sit on either side of my tv. I will be moving one probably into the closet or something.
For the first year my ps3 may very well get more use than the ps4.
I can't imagine the anxiety someone would get after playing the same game over and over. I felt that way with Gravity Rush before P4G came out. There no other interesting games on the Vita. Thank god, I had my consoles and my 3ds. I feel utterly terrible for those next gen ambassadors who will endure the same thing. Enjoy the favorite game: THE WAITING GAME!
PS3 will probably stay next to it for future instant games and my 360 will probably go in my sons room. Also thinking about trying to sell my Gamertag if the price is right. I have about 3k in games and content tied to it.
The only reason I dont want to sell my Xbox 360 is because I not only still want to play GTA 5 on it, but I want to have a collection of Xbox's
