If you could change one of Gamespot's scores...

If you could change one of Gamespot's scores which score from which title would you change and why?

You can change the score to go up or down, whatever you think the game deserved. Please only pick one so that there aren't long lists of games in each post.

The score that I would change:

FFIX was as good as FFVIII for me, so I'd move the score up from 8.5 to 9.5/10.

Anyway, what about you guys? If you could change the score for one game that Gamespot has reviewed, how would you change it and why would you so? What do you guys think?

MGS1, 2 and 3- 9.6

RFoM- 9.5

Crackdown- 9.3

Saints row- 8.8

This game deserved WAAAY more than a 6.4.

SoTC=AAA

Zelda TP= AAA

They are both deserving of AAA.

I completely forgot about Legend of Dragoon! Now that was a good game. It wasn't just GS that gave it a low mark unfortunately. I remember many critics hated the game for some reason.

Fallout, Dues Ex, SS2, Starcraft all 9.8-10.

Edit: oh and Neverhood chronolocles change the 4.9 to a 7.9

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask should at least be given a 9.0Technoweirdo

It was simply inferior to the original. Deserved no more than an 8.9.

SOTC was amazing. I only just played Ico recently actually and thought it was great too. Pity the games don't sell well, people really need to get playing these amazing games.

Can't wait to see what Team ICO has in store for the PS3.

I'd probably drop GeOW to 9.2. Lots of little tweaks here and there. GS hasn't been way way off in a review since last gen though.

Actually scrap that to Halo2 down to 7.6 with Halo:CE with a solid 10. Biggest dissapointment of my gaming life all around the board.

none, i dont give gamespot scores very much credibility.

Look how badly gamespot choked with their review of zelda TP, which is clearly a triple A title in the eyes of the gaming world

gamespot does have many redeeming qualitys that make up for it though

1. Street Fighter III New Generations = 7.4
2. Street Fighter III 2nd Impact Giant Attack = 7.2

Simply go to "top games" click "all-time" and the select "all platforms"

I have found an irregularity that from 1999 to 2000, Gamespot was handing out perfect 10s and 9.9s like there was no tommorow? LOL Y2K maybe?
