If you could kill off any one franchise? what would it be?(all in fun)

I wanna keep this light hearted and just do it for the fun of it.

I'd kill off COD. It took one of my favorite series (loved 1 and 2 on pc) and diluted it down so much it's ridiculous.

Kingdom Hearts, it should end at KH3.

Why so?

Halo series. Should have ended when Halo 3 was release. MS is stuck in the past, Halo CE sure did revolutionize FPS but Halo 3 should have ended right there.

because the story is stupid as all hell already even at the end of its plot and they somehow want to start a whole new saga...no.

It's like having Michael Bay movies considered some of the greatest pieces of American film ever made.

They are all light, shallow fluff that offers almost nothing in the way of substance.

I want Kingdom Hearts to end not because it's bad (it's amazing) but the series NEEDs to end when the Xehanort saga ends, why is there any need for more?

@cainetao11: Since the story of Final Fantasy is different every game (and now since they're switching up the gameplay to keep things fresh), I think keeping the FF franchise going is okay since they're really only similar in name only.

I'd kill Halo with a brick over the head. I'd hit COD with my vehicle.

Halo was originally trilogy. but they released odst to justify its just expansion then reach which is prequel and then halo 4 and 5 because milking was successful. Halo is not ending anytime soon.

Super Mario Bros and Zelda. Both of those franchises have long past their prime. They both peaked during the N64 era.

I guess you didn't read that Uncharted 4 is going to be last game in the series.

Oh come one now,DA Origins was a pretty good game,maybe not all that I wanted from a Baldurs Gate 2 spiritual sucessor of sorts but still pretty good nonetheless.

AC is my first choice...only bc Ubisoft has turned the story to shit. If the story was good then it wouldn't matter.

Halo is my next choice....only bc Master Chief or bust!

Eh, I didn't feel it, man. It felt like such an unfinished and clunky game. Okay, not nearly as unfinished as DA2, and and not nearly as clunky as Inquisition, but it still wasn't up to the level of quality I usually expect from BioWare games.

I mean, sure, it's probably the best game in the series so far, but considering how broken 2 and 3 are, that's not really saying a lot.

I would also say Assassin's Creed, but their new model (no more annual releases) and the fact that they're attempting to reinvent the series (or at least claiming to) is making me cautiously optimistic.

Halo, Gears of War, Fable, CoD, AssCreed amd MArio all make a good argument.

Super Mario. Nintendo would stop setting half of their new franchise in the mushroom kingdom and do something new. No more boring Mario Tennis Mario Strikers Mario 2D Mario Party. New characters, new ideas.

People would get over it quickly, and Nintendo would be better off for it.
