XsX because of game pass, not a fan of gaming on the PC. I'd miss the Spidy sequel but the rest of Sony's exclusives wouldn't bother me to lose

Xbox Series X for me. The ability to buy most of my games on physical format is too powerful of a draw for me.

PS5 for me.

PC for sure. Mods, free online, more power, faster speeds, cheaper and more free games, open ecosystem, VR, backwards compatibility spanning back decades, freely using any input device you want, and you can use it to work from home when not gaming. I almost checks off every box, so now, with Sony and Microsoft bringing their exclusives to PC to get a slice of the market, that means all boxes get Checked.

Isn't it funny how 2 of the biggest hardcore cows in nathandrakesad and the OP reduc are now claiming to be hermits, as they have been making fun of hermits and PC for years 🤣🤣🤣

My vote goes for Xbox, its just the best option..

It objectively isn't. PC runs every game it has better. Free online. Plug a controller in if you don't like kbm. Installing a few drivers may be too difficult for lemming pea brains.

To be fair, I was one of those gamers who didn't think gaming PC was all that until I build myself a PC just to play Crysis back in 2007, and OMFG, PC has shown me the light. I have nothing against consoles, they will always have their place but once you go gaming PC, it's really hard to go back to consoles unless we're talking about console exclusives that is.

I'd choose Switch, and to go with it I'll take Series X.

Yeah, pretty much my situation exactly. As I said above, I can't be one of these drooling brainwashed types that refuses to recognize the better option. Getting into PC.....sheesh, I seriously can hardly believe how much better it is. It's not even a competition, lol. PC just absolutely squashes the console experience.

@davillain-: I've been gaming on console for over 30yrs, this Leopard won't change his spots.

I don't care for graphics, resolution, frames etc, so to me spending a couple of grand to get a few extra pixels/frames etc is a waste of money.

Consoles will always be the better options and give the best bang for your buck, its just that simple.

And as for "freedom & justice" thats just your way of saying cheating & piracy right?

That along with the PC specific games and wide open access to the massive back catalog (retro console/arcade included), just really don't need another platform.

It indeed has it all. My only issue now is my backlog is suddenly the Stairway to Heaven.

Slightly off subject, but I'm curious. When you use a controller on PC, which one do you prefer? I've just been using a DS4 and a Logitech, which I actually like a lot despite it's pretty cheap.

Ha, yeah just gotta play whatever you feel like in the moment. Committing to some backlog on PC is an impossible task.

I'm fine with just about any modern controller, but the Elite 2 became my go-to when I scooped one last year. Probably more pricey than it should be, but damn it's nice.

Before that it was either the 360 controller or DS4.
