If you could only have one console this generation, Which one and why?

Xbox 360 for me. Why?

Xbox live>> Way better then wii's pathetic online network and miles better then PSN

Games>> Xbox 360 has all the games on it I want too play. I like sony's exclusives but 360 wins with just more games I want

Controller>> I like shooters. The Wii has no real shooters and the DualShock 3 is not built right for shooters. The analogs are in the wrong plcace

Arcade Games>>> games like shadow complex I can't get anywhere else. Live has the best library of downloadable games IMO.

Thats my pick so what is yours?

PS3 I get 99% of your 360 games plus way more BETTER exclusives,

but I have to live with the inferior multiplat graphics, controller, and mediocre online service.

But that is the price to pay for exclusives :)!

i choose the xbox 360 because of the superior online, controller and multiplats. i also can't live without the L4D series.

PS3 for a few personal reasons

• Most games I play are online, free online = win in my book
• A lot of close people I know are on PS3
• More exclusives that spark my interest

Personal opinion is all, I'd pick the PS3.

Wii

- Controls are unique
- The best of the library aren't shooters
- I stopped caring about online multiplayer in 2005
- I like Nintendo franchises the best

Probably a PS3 for me. I am currently a Wii-only owner, and it is tough to miss all of these multiplats and exclusives on the other systems. Yes, the first party Nintendo games are great, but that can't single-handedly save the system for me.

IDK. I like my PS3 and Wii the same. Lately I have been in love with WiiWare and Virtual Console. But at the same time the Wii's online sucks A LOT. I forget it even has the function despite me going to the Wii shop channel every so often. The PS3 has good enough online, where I can chat with friends etc...

IDK, I like both.

PS3 for me.

Why?

Because it widens my game selection the most to go with my PC.

Is a reliable piece of hardware.

Plays Blu-Ray movies.

Free online.

Wow, i cannot choose, i seriously can't, i love my Wii, with Brawl, SMG 1 and 2, Zelda, Metroid, etc.

But i also love my Ps3 with Bayonetta, VC, MGS4, SSFIV.

I really, really cannot choose one.

I should of Mentioned that PC is seperate.

PC it is. I can play multiplats, most 360 exclusives, PC exclusives. I would miss my demons souls and MGS4 though.

I already do and it's PS3, no contest, imo.

For me PS3 Why

1. Varity - (every Genre)
2. Exclusives -(many more coming out not timed exclusives or 3rd party exclusives that may come out later. But exclusives made by 1st or 2nd party developers)
3. Free DLC - direct from developers/publishers (steam cloud)
4. Free online play.
5. BluRay- (I get a few BluRay movies and Netflex with BluRay)
6. online- (from console as my computer is not as fast, and often busy)
7. less expensive to get 3rd pary peripherals - (HDD,...)
8. ... Move looks cool with core games (Killzone, Socom)

In the end I enjoy it a lot, Im getting Xbox 360 soon, $150.00 Walmart w/ $50 gift certificate, and will enjoy it but will not be giving MS ANY money No LIVE for me, and my friends will lend me the games. so its all good. I have a Wii and Its not as great as I expected. There are SOME games that are great but just too few and far between. Which I do not even mind but just not as good as I thought.

Xbox 360, because has more of the games i like, far more hardcore quality titles and far more variety

PS3 mainly has Demon Soul, FF13vs, Last Guardian, Gimli RPG, GOW3, The Journey, Sorcery, LBP2, Heavy Rain, Project Horizon

360 mainly has Fable 2-3, Mass Effect 1-2-3, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Tales of Vesperia, Banjo 3, Kameo, Pinata 2, Limbo, Dust, Kingdom Under Fire 2, Project Kingdoms, Milo, Sega and Remedy new games, Alan Wake, Gears 1-2-3, Magna Carta 2, Magic The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers, Risen, Divinity 2, Last Remnant, Grey Matter

It is just the extreme number of RPG, strategy and adventure titles that make me choose 360, but i like PS3 almost as much, Demon Soul alone would be enough for that

Of course, if i had to choose, 360 would be the only choice, more games i like, backward compatibility with xbox 1 games, XBLA games i could not do without, Kinect that is far more advanced than anything else, best version of the major multipltform titles

The majority of games I played on the 360 this gen are also on the PC, I just happened to get the 360 version for one reason or another. I mainly have a 360 because so many of my friends own one, and it lets me play online with those friends.
