If you could only play one console for the rest of your life....

What would it be?

Mine would probably be the PS2. Such a huge library of games, all of which would keep me entertained for probably the rest of my life. So what if the graphics aren't top notch or there is no one playing online, between games like Shadow of the Colussus, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solidand God of War, I think I could do it :)

P.S. Pretend that the libraries of the current gen consoles all stopped exactly as they were today and no more games came out.

if no more games were made for it or if games were still being made? i would choose ps2 also if games stopped being made but if not ps3 cuz it has bluray and free online and rechargeable battery in the controller and is blutooth compatible

the Wii easily. I could play all of its amazing exclusives, its great niche titles etc. Plus i could play all my gamecube games, download NES/SNES/N64 titles.

In fact, i would be surprised if most didn't pick the wii.

If they did probably go BC PS3.

Mine would be PC but since this is about consoles, it would have to be PS2.

PC, since it just keeps going and going.

if that's not a legit option, prolly a backwards compatible PS3 (so I'd at least have 3 consoles worth of games for it).

That's pretty much the best answer I can think of. This yields the highest number of the highest quality games.

Not really sure. I'd probably pick PC tho. Even tho its not a console. There is just so many games out there.

I'd stick with my BC PS3. Just about all of my favorite games are either on PS2 or PS3.

The 360... Such a highly rewarding console, plus, all those yummy bioware games are backwards compatible from the days of xbox. mmmm.....
