^ my choice. How about you, SW?
Probably FFVII: Rebirth. P3: Reload would be a close second.
Don't know why, but I feel skeptical about Persona 3 Reload. Hope it's good 🤞
Too hard to say, I'm guessing we don't know a lot of the games coming yet.
Not to be a stalker cuz that's just not my thing, but the only reason you're saying this is because there's nothing coming out for the switch, the system is over. All these years, and Metroid 4 was nothing but a lie. How tragic, honestly.
Some tough choices but probably Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The original FFVII is one of my all time favourites. I absolutely loved what they did with FFVII Remake and am definitely looking forward to seeing what they do to continue that in Rebirth.
World of Goo 2. I loved the first one. It was an incredibly innovative game, so I'm excited for the second one.
I haven't even looked at games coming out in 2024 so i'm assuming it's any game. So for me it's X4: Foundations. Sprawling galaxy space sim that will take up 100s of hours. I spent about 20 hours in it a couple of years ago and barely chipped at the tip of the iceberg.
Dwarf Fortress would be another strong candidate. Or No Mans Sky.
If it has to be a 2024 game....hmm....F1 2024 maybe? That should eat up a fair bit of time.
Definitely a hard choice.
it stands between Snake Eater remake and Death Stranding 2.
Though I could see both being pushed to 2025, especially the latter.
Kojima-San's work. Not enjoyed a Kojima game since 2019.
(bar the fact that I now have 75 hours of MGS5: The Phantom Pain since I bought it on PC just 2 months ago)

Umm, we just had a thread saying what games to look forward to in 2024, most of us gamers know what to expect and coming out in 2024. My guess is for you, you seem to only care about Nintendo Switch games lately is why I think you don't know what's coming out next year. Come on, most gamers should know what's coming out next year.
As for this thread, there's only 1 game I'm hyped to play in August 2024 and that is:

Teen Wolf?
I'm gonna say Forza Horizon 6 set in Japan. Coming out in October next year.
that would be pretty cool if it was set in Japan. That would get me hyped!
@SolidGame_basic: I know, imagine driving down the streets of Tokyo with all the neon lights etc. Then hitting the country and seeing all the Cherry Blossom trees as you blow past, the Touge tracks down Mt Fuji.
The potential is limitless (not really but you know what I mean)
Besides by then it would be 3yrs since 5 came out.

Yup, would probably be the best one yet, even better than Australia 😉 3 years sound about right for a new entry.
@hrt_rulz01: Seems you have a stalker in wenzen. I've noticed that when you post 99.9% of the time wenzen is the next poster quoting you.
Sheep are a dying breed, so when i see one, i am super hyped and must quote him.
@R4gn4r0k:
WHat about Judas?
Wouldn't you be more hyped by a new game of the same devs rather than yet another remaster?
Judas is my third most wanted (announced) game after Snake Eater remake and Death Stranding 2.
I'd like to try the System Shock 2 and Age of Mythology remasters.
Pretty extensive mods for this that pretty much make it a "remaster", though some dumb "**** up the art direction" stuff def want to ignore.

I'd say nightdive actually sticks quite close to the original art styles in all of their games. As do I with any graphics mods that I tend to install.
Even better is a remaster that still allows you to use all the original mods. Like that recent The Witcher 3 Anniversary Edition.

As soon as I see some gameplay, sure.
But I also believe that great games are made by teams of people, and not individuals. Irrational games was a group of talented people that managed to make some great games. Not convinced yet that Judas has the same talent behind it.
