that Half Life 2 is a three year old game?

I'm still playing through it the first time on the 360, and it is easily the best FPS I've ever played. It's dethroned RE4 as my second favorite game of the last generation, and is taking serious swipes at my favorite, Beyond Good and Evil. And I haven't even gotten to Episode 1 or 2 yet! Plus, TF2 is more fun than Halo 3 online, andPortal is my GotY at the moment (but Mass Effect will silence that)

Bleh...buggy controls are even worse on the 360 version lol. But, I have to agree with the TC, the Orange Box is probably my fav game this year.

I finally played it the first time with the Orange Box and I'm blown away as well. I ended up finishing the game in two sittings, one long one and one really long one, just couldn't stop. If thats not bad enough I already have the urge to play through it again and I still have EP. 1 and 2, and Portal to go through.

Yeah, it's too bad that Ep 1 and 2 are a combined seven hours of gameplay...but you'll love every minute of it lol.

Both the buggy and water thing have some seriously wonky controls but the buggy was definitely worse. But thats one of the only faults I can find. I can't believe a friend of mine returned his copy, he said he couldn't "stomach" the game and couldn't figure out why I was anticipating it so much.
