If You Had 50 Million Dollars.....

And a dev studio with the ability to revive any IP that was deemed unfit, dead, or not good enough to ring in the Big Bucks. Which one would you spearhead with a sequel. And Why?

I make this thread because i feel like so many games from the last generation of gaming and ideas that were really keen and fresh to that Era have been tossed aside for "the Dudebro" wave that has swept across the gaming industry this past few years. The game does not have to yield profit or even breakeven. This one is for the fans.

Now Which IP would you Revive?

I loved Advent Rising though, so I pick that.

If I had to use it to revive an ip, I guess I would do a sequel to vampire: the masquerade bloodlines.

it really was man. game had some cool platforming moments too.

I have to agree with battlezone. I mostly played single player in Battlezone but in Battlezone 2 I spend so many hours playing online. It is so much fun and it is a great multiplayer experience. For me, no other multiplayer came close to it. I am still hoping that someone will make Battlezone 3.

Out of the games you have listed, I only know Mech Assault. But I would prefer to see another Mech Warrior or Mech Commander game than another Mech Assault game.

I'd ignore them all in favor of a bold new IP created under my supervision as my masterpiece in gaming. It would be amazing and in the end its better to introduce new things then look to the past.

I certainly wouldn't use it to revive an IP, but OK, if I had to, then I choose The Adventures of Lolo. Great series. I want more.

xenogears/saga and I'd spend the majority of it finishing both xenogears and planescape: torment (altho the fix pack fixes a lot of the questing). Either that or develop a new neverhood game.

Probably Perfect Dark, although there are other honorable mentions. I would want DICE to get together with all the big wigs who made timesplitters, goldeneye and Perfect Dark, and make an epic perfect dark :).

Uncharted water series, Taikou Risshiden, Suikoden, temple of elemental evil (just the engine is fine with me... and don't use D&D 4th edition rules), breath of fire, Dokyusei (3rd installment announcement was like 13 years ago, but the lead designer disappeared without a trace and it is forever gone... :cry:)etc.

I'd revive Cavia & have them make a spiritual successor to NIER (not a direct sequel), but somehow related. Like ICO is to SotC etc.

A revival or sequel to Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising. Hands down one of the deepest and most well written rts games i;ve ever played.

sorry but have you even played power stone, dunno why capcom didnt run with that game its beyond me so much fun,simplistic,pick up and play balls out fighting aswell with its own charm and weird edge,

Also had a sequel Power Stone 2 which is probably held as one of my favourite games ever..Endless hour and hours of playing that at my mates when i was younger and it never ever got old and still doesnt especially with some beers and a good dose of banter.

Would definately love to see a PowerStone 3 or at least a DLC version of 2 on PSN or XBLA.

Old DnD games (Baldur's Gate/Planescape: Torment to be specific considering a NWN game is coming) or make a new one, Forgotten Realms is quite big.

Dark Messiah, Urban Assault, Force 21 (liked the gameplay mechanic of both rts games the ability to directly control unites added more tactics), Generals and a lot of other old games I just can't seem to remember.
