If that was me and I didnt own a PS3 I would...go to MS's HQ and throw the system at them...then curse at windows for no reason...then buy a PS3 if it appealed to me.

Meh, it would be up to you. My 360 (going onto my 4th) is currently at the repair facility while Im enjoying the HS demo on the PS3. Its a good console with great game, but its up to you if you want to deal with the hassle of when it breaks

I'm on my 7th 360, and I still own one. I also have a PS3 though. I bought my PS3 at launch, and I've never had a single problem with it.

Bioshock, I think I recall a couple months back that you said you picked up an elite. (I think it was you lol) Did it break on you? or is it running strong?

Thanks man, I respect that.

I did buy an Elite at launch, then a month later....it red ringed. I exchanged it with my PRP, and the new one has been doing well and actually running a little cooler. I hope it lasts a while. :(

Good question. If they continually repaired it for free probably not. I like to only get one console and stick with that, however, if it did break that many times I will definately buy something other than an Xbox when the new systems come out in five years or so.

If my 360 breaks before Christmas, I'll replace and then sell it. Maybe for a PS3 if the 60GB model is still there.

Well I'm waiting for 65nm chips to avoid that little problem there. If I already had one I'd sell it and get a 65nm chip one. But I already bought a PS3 because it is reliable so whatever.

If it dies once so be it, things break. But if it died twice then i would sell it in a heartbeat as its obviously got a problem.

Yeah, if it broke three times, would definitely trade up for a PS3. At the moment though, my launch 360 is still going strong...knock on wood!

My 360 was in a coffin twice but I still have it, I will sell it in april 2008 just before the warranty runs out and there are no games in 2008 anyway I really want. I still have my ps3 and who knowsI might uy a wii if it gets some games.

Unfortunately your not alone. It's funny that some fanboys don't believe they are breaking. Mine only lasted 9 months each and I treated it like a new born baby.
