If you had to choose, which video game world would you live in?

I know this isn't really standard-fare for SW, but I thought we could all take a break from the stressful (jk...for most of us, that is) hype building around E3 this year. So, say a portal of some sort, an opaque hole with a dim purple-blue undulating ring at the outer edge, for instance, opens up inside of your bedroom closet/behind your shower curtain/on the patio, should you possess one, just beyond the backdoor, and, staring into the void, which you are not certain is a void, a disembodied face appears that looks like your own except for a kind of oily sheen and general pallidness, as if it is your reflection in an oddly limiting mirror and you have an illness that is causing, among other, more descriptively challenging symptoms, your perspiration to congeal, your blood pressure to ebb, and this face says to you in a voice as detached as its form, yet in a manner of which you cannot readily conceive, but rather sense, "A thin ringing note will grow outward from inside moment to moment as you decrease inward, gradually turning as might the Master in his chamber, and also not, as you will do so according to the will of the motion, and not the directed motion of the will."

The idea exists alone, it would seem: what realm, of those manifested through imaginative force, comes first to mind?

For me, it is Silent Hill. A close second(s) is Persona 4/Final Fantasy X-2/Rule of Rose (but only if I could be Diana's best friend).

Where would you reside, SW?

Id live in Hyrule with Goddess Farore.

An Animal Crossing village, or something in the same vein of that like Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley. Somewhere peaceful where everyone is chill all the time.

Super Mario world. Just eat mushrooms all day and trip out on the pretty colors, and how small everything "appears".

Silent Hill changes--in some cases dramatically--based upon the individual's personal history/psychological makeup. Trust me, it would be many things, but boring would not be one of those things.

Outpost Island, Wind waker.

Everyone's gone to the Rapture. Beautiful and peaceful English cottage village. It's the kind of game world where you just make some iced tea and enjoy the weather.

You punish yourself. The town does not punish you.

I wish so much that they would make a VR update for that game.

The Sims 4? I'm not a fan of the game. But, if I choose the games I like, I'd be dead before the day is over. ;)

When I read this thread, I knew my answer was going to be Forgotten Realms. But what part of it? That really was a thinker.

And the answer is Icewind Dale. Even more specifically: Kuldahar.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse world so I can go Super Saiyan Rose. If that doesn't count as a video game world then Bloodborne.

It depends. Would I be a badass in this game world like my playable character?

Then maybe the Mass Effect universe. Just give me a FTL-capable ship and call me good to go. I'd spend the rest of my life just going from port to planet to port.

i'd love to live in the Ultima 7 world. I'd likely get sucked up into the fellowship cult and end up getting into all kinds of hijinks.

As well, the morrowind or oblivion world would be great also, not the Skyrim world cause of the huge dragons, one of those would kill me the first day on the job.

I wouldn't mind being a zerg minion either in the starcraft universe. Be kinda nice to have kerrigan step on me and teach me a lesson or two.
