If you hate on KZ2 because of KZ1, here's why you're wrong

Bash all you want - it doesn't hurt my feelings, my PS3 doesn't have feelings, and I'm just looking forward to seeing if the gameplay behind the (seemingly universally-admitted) great graphics turns out well.

Still, I see all kinds of people lol'ing at KZ2 hype on the basis that KZ1 "sucked." If you're one of those people, here's why you're wrong:

The above point notwithstanding, the fact that they made a GS-based "great" game since KZ1 came out holds no clout here?

There's more history here other than the original Killzone.

There was also the massive hype behind a trailer.... a trailer that the fanboys were claiming to been real-time, but was later admitted to be fake.

^^ and was later shown at E3 with nearly equal effects.

I'm still wondering why I posted this - you can't actually expect to change someone's perspective on here.

the handheld killzone is better than a console killzone so the console killzones will suck.

You can't say you hate it but you can use educated guesses on why it won't be the end all FPS like its being hyped. I mean seriously this is exactly what happened with KZ1 and people are making the same mistakes with KZ2. I don't understand why people just don't take the wait and see approach instead of doing exactly what they did in the past.

At least wait until solid gameplay information is let out. Things like....

Number of players online.

1. Weapons.
2. Vehicles
3. Gameplay Types
4. Online Modes
5. Campaign features like Co-op
6. ect

but wait a second Blackbond, who is actually hyping it as the end all FPS? :? I haven't seen that hype in an amount that is worthy of attention. Such hype is most likely from fanboys and extremists, who should not be fed with reference to their beliefs. As far as I know, KZ2 is being hyped by pro-killzoners as an improvement over the original and a solid game.

what is there to hate or hype no one knows much about the game,There was the fake cgi trailer that was hyped and then one realtime level that looked nowhere near as good as what was hyped has been shown.

Its not the same team that made KZ that's working on KZ2. Bigger budget. More time. More money. Different team. And KZ Liberation is a good omen that the franchise can indeed bring forth the fun.

All the ones that scream about the graphics? By the way, if you want to dodge a suspension, it's best to wait a bit after your other accounts gets canned.

I love the first Killzone, and I still play it so Ill definatly pick up the second.
