360 right now, and it's like I'm pretty much forced to play multiplats on it as well considering my friends list is literally packed with people I know who have 360s (I think I have to make a seperarte Live account for just Halo friends). I have about 4 friends on PSN. Which is upsetting, but everyday shooter and warhawk are both pretty cool games.
I am a gamer and a movie fan. For games the 360 is king, period! Anyone who makes things up and says otherwise for the games that are out currently (not in the future) is lying to you and to themselves.
I mostly purchased the ps3 for movies since it was the cheapest bluray player on the market (before Sony became desperate and created 5 versions of the system). For movies the ps3 is king but outside of that for GAMES, it is not. I play nearly everything. If I don't buy it I rent it from gamefly and 95% of all the games I have played this year have been on the 360. As I am writing this I will be playing halo, 5 mins later and half-life, 4 hours after that.
I have 3 more games that I am purchasing this year, GH III on 360, Rock Band on 360 and Mass Effect. Everything else will be rented; including R&C (don't know anything about it so will rent it).
I love using my PS3 to play movies (especially blu-rays, obviously), but in terms of games I almost never touch it. I only recently got mine, and I made sure to pick up Resistance with it, but after playing it for a couple hours I decided my time was better spent playing my 360 (and when Halo 3 came out, Resistance didn't stand a chance). The only other thing I do with my PS3 right now is play Persona 3 from the PS2; the combination of full BC and a blu-ray player make the 60 gig PS3 awesome. In general though, my 360 dominates gaming simply because of the overwhelming amount of games available. Every couple months I play a new game on my Wii (Zelda, RE4, Super Paper Mario, MP3, soon Mario Galaxy), and I use my PS3 to play movies every week, but my 360 is on playing games almost every day.
If I had a dime for every time someone said the PS3 was about to take over (i.e. "When the PS3 comes out", "when Motorstorm comes out", "just wait till Lair!", "Heavenly Sword is the true GOTY"), I'd be relaxing in a beach chair on my island, having pretty server girls bring me piña coladas. The PS3 has plenty of potential for next year, but also has a long way to go before it "takes over".
360 because I prefer the online community (I wish the PS3 community was better since it is free) and because atm it has better games. I am very much looking forward to Uncharted, Haze and MGS4 though. I primarilty use my PS3 as a blu-ray player.
I play my 360 more, but I prefer my PS3. Things will balance out when there are more PS3 games to choose from though.SolidSnake35
I play my 360 more too, but next year I'll be playing my PS3 more.However that doesn't mean I won't be enjoying games on my 360 either. Both are great systems and people will be missing out on a lot of great games by just owning one.
I own both. I was happy with the xbox 360 until halo 3 came out and bought the game just because of the hype, then I realize most games released on the xbox 360 were FPS. I am not a big fan of those. Gears of war was the only game I played.

I have 1 xbox 360 game, Halo 3, and it kicks ass.
Overall I like my PS3 much better though. It looks much sexier and it is a higher quality console. Some of the stuff on PSN lately has been outstanding.
If the graphics look this good 1 year in (I am refering the r&c demo and uncharted) imagine how good they will look in 2008/2009.
