If you have both Xbox360 AND PS3.....

Which do you prefer, and why???

please only post/vote if you own both.

I personally couldn't pick a system based on each's exclusive titles, so I had to have both. Both have their Pros and Cons but only one can win the poll.

Here's the things i like better on each console.

Xbox Live > PSN

360 Controller > Sixaxis (still holding this one out till i have a DS3)

Blu Ray > DVD

System design (both software userbality and looks, and hardware looks)

PS3 > 360

Price

PS3 > 360 (i refuse to pay for XBL Gold, and i hate that i had to buy a charge station aswell as a wireless dongle for the 360!)

Games:

Xbox 360 > PS3.

So there you go, they are so and so equally good.

you're right, PS3 has a lot going for it this year. but being that this poll is for owners of BOTH and it seems that so far the ps3 is leading, maybe thats what it takes for some people to realize the PS3 has a lot going for it.

Ps3. the 360 has terrible graphics in comparison. Its so noisy, Im constantly afraid to turn on my 360 and have RRoD. And i dont like the controller one bit. The bumper buttons on the top of the triggers are so easy to accidentally hit. And Idk why people say XBL is better, achievements are like the only thing the 360 has that the PS3 doesnt, but like most real gamers, why would i care about that when im playing the game? In my comparison (Verizon FiOS, 360 on ethernet in the same room as the router and the PS3 on WiFi in the next room) the PS3 has less issues connecting and staying connected than the 360. It boggles my mind when people say XBL is worth 50 bucks a year for a better service, i guess those people havent played on PSN. or had a couple bad experiences.

Furture releases favor PS3 IMO. X360 has the worst reliability.

If I was into online that would be a plus for X360 (at the moment anyways) but I watch movies much more so that is yet another plus to PS3.

I own both and I play neither really though. The X360 broke and I refused to pay $100 to fix it and the games I would be intrested in trying out on the PS3 haven't released yet (MGS4, KillZone 2, and FF13). I have both console versions of GTA4 (given to me for free) but I could care less about even opening the game.

From a gaming stance: 360

Why? Because I use the cross game chatting feature everytime I am online for more then ten minutes, I enjoy the achievments, I like the controller better,

And more importantly, the library.

From a movie stance: PS3

honestly I think that is a fakeboy........I can't believe any gamer would try to say that when comparing the two that one would have terrible graphics because essentially all games look the same. Saying the X360 has terrible graphics in comparison means PS3 has terrible graphics. Either the guy is delusional, blind, or a fakeboy.

PS3 because I like the game library better and I like its functionality.

I have already purchased about 55 Blu Ray movies :)

I prefer the PS3 as my most used box.....

I love the DualShock 3, Its Quiet, Online play is free, Blu-Ray is lovely and I still get to play most of the great 360 games since most games are multiplat.

That's tough. I've had 360 since launch, and got a PS3 a few months ago. I think the PS3 is an excellent system and I might even recommend it to people who are about to buy a new systems. It doesn't have nearly as many quality games as 360, but it has more than enough to keep most gamers very happy. I really like the blu-ray player. That's actually the reason I bought it.

That being said, I would say I still prefer the 360 for gaming. I prefer the controller. RPG is my favorite genera (this, alone give the 360 a HUGE advantage). I like achievements. I like LIVE. I prefer the 360 usability and OS features. No in game dashboard on Sony is annoying. Not being able to use custom soundtracks is annoying. These may seem like nitpicks, but after using them for so long on 360, I really miss them when using the PS3. I really hate the fact that PS3 control requires bluetooth. I have a $200 Harmony remote that is now completely worthless when watching blu-ray movies.

I really like both systems. 360 is a little better gaming system right now, but PS3 is getting better and the blu-ray is a very nice value add.

I'd probably say my 360, due to the fact that i've had it since launch, while i've had my PS3 for just two and a half months.

They're both excellent consoles though.

I guess you failed to read where I stated my PSN ID is dxgr81 and I did have both machines, when I rented a PS3 for 2 weeks and played and finished Uncharted. Funny how you single me out, but ignore the people that prefer PS3 when they don't own both...

Jeez that sucks and is very very sad.

I thought that having to go out of sate for a confrence during "the week of gtaIV" was bad.

Out of respect I did not vote for I do not own a ps3. I would like to add that neither of them are my favorite system though.

The xbox 360. Sure, I hate to know its basically a ticking time bomb, but lets face the facts. More than 90% of games on it perform, and look better. Games are starting to knock that line down, but not completely. Look at basically any midway game, with the exception of ut3 on the ps3. Has sound problems, framerate issues, and more. I bought strangle hold on the ps3 last year, and it was utter crap. Sound muffling, framerate issues, graphic problems.

But, just as a personal thing, I prefer the 360s fan, to the amount of heat the ps3 does. Sure, the ps3 will never mess up, but it warms my room up to wayy too high standards.

Then, for my last argument, the 360 controller is technically better. I say this because on the sixaxis AND dual shock 3, if you look vertically sometimes, it'll register you looking left and right. The controlers have a terrible dead zone in them. Sure, I don't like the tribbers on the 360 as much, but at least I get to aim how I want.

Thats a total lie. 360 graphics are not at all terrible in comparison. I bought gta4 on the 360, I hardley ever play my ps3. Mgs4 will change that but pther than a upcoming release I never enen turn it on except to watch blurays.
