Please, your opinion isn't fact.

no the 360 controler is uch more confrotable and the dual shock isnt.
i hate the lightness and it also looks ugly.
Dualshock has too much buttons IMO. It tells me to press L2 then I press R1, and then realize that was stupid and press R2, which is more stupid... And then I realize L was suppose to be left : Too many shoulder buttons!!! And it took me 2 months to realize what L3 was.

The Dualshock is -not- a light controller, what are you talking about?L3 and R3 actually doesn't make any sense at all. I mean L1-2 and R1-2 are shoulder buttons but L3 and R3 is clicking the analogue stick. It never made much sense to me. It's a good thing that I only had to use R3 in Tekken TagDualshock has too much buttons IMO. Makes perfect Sense? L / R dont mean shoulders ... it means the side of the controller.

I know. L means left and R means right but, at the time, it was confusing with L3 and R3 being totally different to the other L and R buttonsDualshock has too much buttons IMO. wow is all I have to say...
PS... Never try PC games.
Yeah they were about value with the Xbox but now they're just about syphoning money from you. 360s are junk unreliable hardware. XBL fees. Microtransactions for all content. Expensive proprietary add-ons. Really the things last gen lemmings dissed PS2 for (cows got "milked" for add-ons and new iterations) are COMPLETELY REVERSED this generation with PS3 being the most powerful all in one system. It's all about game preference but you lemmings are totally hypocritical about the hardware aspect.Lazy_Boy88

I honestly find it hard to believe a Pc gamer finds the Dualshock to have too many buttons,i'm also quite the Pc gamer myself and I have found it near impossible to enjoy each PC game due to the presence of so many buttons each with a unique function.[QUOTE="Eponique"][QUOTE="tag_001"][QUOTE="Eponique"]Dualshock has too much buttons IMO. Cows also claimed graphics were nothing; now they're everything. :| Also, it's rediculous (laughable even) to hear any sony fanboy say anything about hardware issues when the PS2 was faulty to the point of a class action lawsuit FORCING sony to replace, repair and recall a vast number of units. When the problem with the 360 hits that stage, claim ownage by all means. But even then, it's only on par with your own console of choice.

I disagree with a lot of things you say--your unjustified bias is too strong in my opinion--but you are SO ON THE MONEY with everything you've said here. The situation from last-gen is completely reversed, with the "best dollar value" going to Sony this time, and the lower-end, unreliable hardware going to MS this time. There's even a reversal of with the tiny library compared to the larger library. It isn't clear-cut with the online gaming situation, because some people really do favor XBL and don't care about its fees, and more importantly, both systems have good online service. But otherwise, it's a mirror of the last generation, to a degree that's pretty weird if you think about it.
Still, once again, you show your bias. How can you accuse MS fans of being hypocritical about the new situation (where all their arguments are made from the same side of the fence they opposed last time around), and fail to mention how Sony fans are doing exactly the same thing? Because they are equally hypocritical, and you know they are.
[QUOTE="terry_tate"]Please, your opinion isn't fact.DualshockinAnd where exactly did I state it is a fact?
"What's wrong with the greatest gaming controller of all time?" was your exact quote. So you just decided to leave out the "IMO" for fun I'm guessing?:|

You must have missed this story. M$ is already working on getting it resolved. It's all about the games anyways. The hardware is just the key to unlocking incredible games for us to play.

You should probably read a thread before you post. Lest you look silly and bring up something which has already been debunked.
When was the argument "debunked"? All I saw was some silly damage control. Fact: damage controlling doesn't make the problem go away. And where exactly did I state it is a fact?[QUOTE="Dualshockin"][QUOTE="terry_tate"]Please, your opinion isn't fact.dgroundwater

He doesn't have to say "imo." He is stating it so it should be implied that it's his opinion.

Console controls never have enough buttons. That's why PC wins most of the time. PS3 controller is the one with the most inputs now since they added motion sensing, another input.

Unlocking the secrets of your wallet to MS with RLoD.
When was the argument "debunked"? All I saw was some silly damage control. Fact: damage controlling doesn't make the problem go away.TNT_Slug
Simple arguement: the PS2 was faulty to the point of a class-action lawsuit. It is therefore massively hypocritical to criticise another product's build quality when the faults with it haven't reach the same level of your own, which this time a few years ago cows were defending as no big deal. If a WORSE problem was no big deal to you, you cant suddenly make a lesser problem with the 360 an epic failing.
Simple.

so now that both companies have gone through the bad hardware phase, (assuming MS is admitting the problem to themselves) it will probably be the next-next gen when we have two competing consoles that are reliable.

Ugh, let's pray MS designs the 360 Slimline with thermal dissipation their top priority.

From what I'm seeing the Wiimote is the greatest controller of all time. MS need to fix that damn red ring of death issue and give free repair for people whos 360 broke after warrenty for their crap.[QUOTE="TrueReligion_"]How about improving the 3-red lights, Microsoft?PS3_3DO
How about improving the lackluster games, Sony?
pc has both
you will see that it is a series of constant value improvment, from the launch of the xbox with the HUGE ugly controller AND the ugly xbox itself(I bought one at launch) that got upraded to the controller s then xbox live came out+ ea joins xbox live+friends list andclan features for Halo 2-then you got the 360 which at the time it came out was seriously next gen with triple core 3.2 ghz....It made sony lie there arse off at E3 05(and the press fell for it-yes even Gamespot) now we got the elite already with 120gb hdd-and they didt need to fix the controller cause it is already the best-bianual system updates that are always improving....heck yeah. EAT IT.THEKING1337
Soooo..... the xbox brand puts out crappy stuff first, then re-releases the better stuff later on so the people who want to enjoy it to it's fullest have to buy more?
[QUOTE="Hot_Potato"]The greatest controller of all time.kman3002
Amen brother
Double amen to that one. Especially when you consider that you can plug an xbox 360 controller into your PC and program it to work with every single game you own if you really cant stand the keyboard for say, a racing game.
