Getting it for the Wii, because that's probably all I'll have when it comes out. Even if I do have a 360, I'll still get it for the Wii, because the controller would probably be cheaper due to the Wii controller acting as an interface.Tylendal
good point. hopefully that's the case.

I think it was official that the Wii would do all the work like, tilt and bluetooth connection. The guitar would most likely be a piece of plastic with some connection points.
I'd buy and try to learn how to play a real guitar before I buy a Guitar Hero game..so, no, I'm not getting it.majadamus
I have played guitar before and Guitar Hero is pretty fun its really not the same thing. But I agree with you if youre talking about rockband, I think its a stupid idea.
Same here.I personally am getting it for the Wii, becuase well that's all I have and need =] I'm just interested to see how many people are getting it for each system.

Oh, and I don't think Rock Band is a stupid idea, it'll just cost like $200, most likely, so I'll never get it.
probably the wii, maybe the 360 if its only $10 more, or maybe for the PS2 because I already have the guitar.

I was pointing out the likelihood of me buying Guitar Hero. Which is highly unlikely for me to pick up any musical instrument and learn how to play.
PS3. Only becuase the 360 version probably wont be wireless. And I wont get it on Wii, becuase I want Rock Band as well, on the same console as GH3. Wii doesn't have Rock Band, if I'm correct?
So yea. I do need to buy a PS3 first though, otherwise I'll get it on Wii.
I DON'T KNOW! I been trying to figure that out, I have choice of three options. PS2, Wii, and 360. With PS2, I have no worry of buying a new guitar but with that lacking the online protential. I could always get it on my Wii or 360, but I would have to buy yet another crowding device. With that I could go for either, but I dont know. Anyone else had this same problem and thoughts?
It's supposed to eventually. Link:http://gonintendo.com/?p=21300PS3. Only becuase the 360 version probably wont be wireless. And I wont get it on Wii, becuase I want Rock Band as well, on the same console as GH3. Wii doesn't have Rock Band, if I'm correct?

I'm getting it on PS3.....reason being....
I don't have a PS2 and then I can play....
Guitar Hero I, Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero: 80s, and Guitar Hero III
Actually....and this is another question. Do you guys think the Rock Band guitar will be compatible with the Guitar Hero(s). Like if I got the guitar for Rock Band could I just buy a copy of Guitar Hero III instead of having to buy two guitars. This could save me a lot of cash.
Also, if the Rock Band guitar works with Guitar Hero III I would think (hopefully) that it would also work with GH I, GH II, and the 80s version. Yes/ No (PLEASE WORK! :D ) These are the big questions I have on my mind about these two games right now.

What i dont get is-
1) Can you play each of theinstrumentsby them selfes.
2) Singing looks boring.
3) It costs to much.
4) Gh is simple, This isnt.
For the 360. Do you know if it will be different packages? I need the one that just comes with a foot pedal.
Wii. Something about the phrase "Motion-based rockout sequences" just seems so right to me.SmashBrosLegend
:| Have you played GH before?
