Nah, the XBone has that in spades. They really front-loaded the launch of the XBone but in a few months, they are going to have to lean on depth. Meanwhile, the WiiU hasn't even played its biggest cards like Zelda, StarFox, Metroid or Pokemon.

MS will rue the day they closed Ensemble.

I agree with the Wii U being a perfect companion system. However, i feel that the absolute best system to have right now or ever period is PC. I find it interesting that a lot of sites have done comparisons of 360 vs. X1 versions of Battlefield 4. The differences are striking in some scenes, especially one scene where a building blows up. The flames look so lame in the 360 version vs. the One version. That's two separate consoles. Now I can have one PC that runs it at minimum and look like the 360 version, but another that can run it at max settings and look better than both 360 and One versions. Yet the same game runs on both PCs. Whereas you only have the 360 version and the One version. Why do I point this out? (flame shields up) It's not a remake like The Last of Us that requires you to buy the game separately for PS3 and PS4, nor are you required to "upgrade" from the 360 to the X1 version in order to have upgraded graphics!!! This is one of the things that makes PC so much better is true backwards compatibility as well as the ability to truly upgrade to a rig that can run everything with crazy specs vs. pathetic "next gen" console specs. Yeah, the X1 version of Battlefield 4 looks better than the 360 version, but at the cost of resolution. PC beats both PS4 and X1 because it doesn't have the limitations of those consoles.

Having said that, Wii U sets itself apart from the two pathetic consoles because it's not trying to be a PC with pathetic specs. It's being a game console with great games where every other game is not a first person shooter or racing sim. Nintendo's doing what it has always done, and that's make great games everybody can enjoy.

Truly, PC + Wii U combo is the ultimate in video games.

Ya'll both lost the plot. The point is that if you are running out to the store today to buy the system with the most good games, it's the WiiU. If you don't already have a gaming PC, shame on you because you should have had one yesterday. If you're buying an XBone because of the recent couple of weeks of utter trash posting from the Lems just because DriveClub was an utter flop-a-saurus then shame on you, too. It goes without saying that if you ran out to get a PS4 despite it not having games you like, that's pretty dumb as well.

Point is, WiiU has the strongest lineup for a console. Two years worth of solid titles versus one year of whatevs.

If you want to regularly experience great games at their full potential...then build a good quality gaming PC.

If you want the best present exclusives...buy a WiiU.

If you want a console that will get better and better as time goes on...buy a PS4.

If you're just utterly obsessed with Halo, Gears or Forza...then get an XBone.

But Halo 5, new Gears, Scale bound are either 2015 or beyond. Then there is the new TR which was a weird (stupid, but I am not a major business head so what do I know) move. All have their pluses no matter how biased one is.

The Wii U is killing it right now, but its a hardass wait until mid-late 2015. Even then tbh the Wii U has a good lineup.

"Hardcore gamerz" love to bash Nintendo, but they actually bring something to the table no one else can. Like it or hate it, Ninty is in the game doing shit differently which is their appeal. Theres a reason why hermits like the Wii U, because it has what the lesser PS4/Xbone don't.

PC is clearly the best option right now. If you have a PC, then Wii U is definitely the most worth getting based on what's out now. PS4 and Xbox One both have pretty poor libraries of exclusives.

Bought mine a few days ago. Got the MK8/NintyLand bundle. Just bought ZombiU tonight and played a little. Holy shit why don't people talk about this game? It's fucking brilliant. It's the ultimate survival horror this side of Alien: Isolation. The gamepad inventory management/map interplay with the main gameplay is really tense and gets me pretty damn anxious any time I look away from the screen.

Another one of those Ubisoft launch titles (like Red Steel) that people just pass on because either "it's Ubisoft" or "it's a dumb launch title". It really showcases how the gamepad can be used creatively... and it amazes me how it didn't catch on.

Red Steel 1 sucked, Red Steel 2 was dope as hell.

The Wii U has a good amount of quality games, but due to the lack of 3rd party support it really only shines as a companion console. If you only wanted to buy 1 console at the moment the Xbox one would be your best bet due to exclusives/ console exclusives along with the 3rd party support.

Yeah, I bought the pack for Wii U that includes both Bayonetta games. I'm sure I'll love the games as I'm a fan of DMC and GOW.

But first I went to media markt and they didn't have the game. And at Game Mania I bought their last copy :P

The X1 and wii are both great choices in the here and now. The PS4 software has been a let down largely.

It's cool that MS shows interest in them too. But I can't own every single consoles, unfortunately.

Platinum is good with making new IPs. Bayonetta 2 is the only sequel they've ever made. All other stuff is new.

It's one of the main reasons I'm picking up an Xbox One. Where Platinum goes, I go. Same for my WiiU :p

I have a Wii U, and plan on buying exactly zero games for it this Holiday. I will buy the Master Chief Collection on consoles, and everything else will be a multiplat I will enjoy on my PC. The PS4 will remain dormant until Feburary, where it will struggle for my attention once the Witcher 3 drops onto my PC's hard drive.

Exclusives don't stand on their own merits unless they are excellent relative to the other games they are competing with in the video game ecosystem as a whole.

Yeah, they have been very good at creating new IP all the time. A Bayonetta 3 wouldn't be preposterous, what with the 10/10 it got here. What 10/10 game on here never got a sequel ? :P

I think so. There are straight sequels. Wind Waker -> Phantom hourglass. Or Super Mario Galaxy -> Galaxy 2

But then there are also the continuations of the franchise; But then NSMB is also a sequel to the 3D Mario's that are a sequel to the 2D Mario's ...
