And it doesn't have to be even what majority of people would call a "gaming PC", the PC has such rich history and library of adventure games, that even 3 next generations of consoles combined wouldn't be even able to come remotely close to it. The biggest con of PC in this respect is its relatively big number of niche / indie games, which is something that can't be accomplished on consoles. PC is an undisputable king in this respect and the situation doesn't seem likely to change any time soon.

Feel free to discuss.

Can you recommend some good ones because I haven't played many action/adventure on PC (usually it's RPG, MMO, and RTS).

Alright you said Action Adventure in the thread title but only said "PC has such rich history and library of adventure games". Adventure games and Action Adventure games are two different genres. One being a fusion genre.

You're right, but even in this respect, PC shouldn't feel left out, because it has fair share of multiplats shared with consoles and many later ported action-adventure games, i.e. Max Payne or Mafia started as PC exclusives (before these ports to PS2 and Xbox).

Not a gaming PC, huh? So that means... a vast majority of the population can play these action/adventure games. Well, I'll bite. What are they?
