...making a game?
if you had to work on a brand new IP game (so don't think of your halos, metal gear solids, marios.), how would you distribute the time into each of the following categories to make it a successful game?
for example, if i gave you only 100 points to distribute, how would you distribute the points?... so lets say the more points you place into audio category, means the more time your employees will spend in the audio department.
Categories:
Visual presentation (graphics, menus, camera angles, etc)
Story (script writing, character personalities, etc)
Design (levels, quest, puzzles, etc)
Audio (music, voice overs, etc)
Gameplay (offense, defense, combo moves, animations, etc)
Multiplayer (game types, ranking systems, etc)
For me it would be:
VP - 25
S - 5
D - 10
A - 10
G - 35
MP - 15
