If your parents play videogames, which console do they perfer?

My dad was always a fan of gameboy and playstation. The N64 controller would give him arthritis or slight irritation on his thumb, but he still tried to play with me. He got into the Playstation with sports game and then he suddenly lost all interest.

My mom is a big fan of the wii. We only have like 4 games but she just like bowling.

How bout you guys?

My mum always used to play my brothers original big Gameboy, she beat some Mario game my brother had on it so many times. She also got really addicted to playing colums on our SEGA Megadrive, once she stayed up till like 5 in the morning playing it and got a ridiculously high score, it's kind of scary. Now she plays DS, she has brain training and some sight training game and seems to really enjoy them.

As for my dad, well he used to have this really old system which ran on tapes, I remeber once he got it out and we tried to get it working but we never could, which was a shame because he had this game called Ant Attack that I really wanted to play. And im guessing he played the Nintendo Game & Watch, my Auntie has one, I always used to play it whenever I saw her, I suppose she had it when she was younger.

Mom: NES, SNES, Genesis, and Wii (She stopped gaming because the controllers were too difficult until I bought a Wii and she likes playing that.)

Dad: NES, PS1, Dreamcast, PS2, and Wii

My father PC games the most. He has borrowed a couple of PS3 games from me after buying a PS3 for the Blu Ray player.

My Mom use to play Zelda and Dragon Quest but I don't think she has gamed in awhile.

My dad played NES and SNES regularly with us. Big Street Fighter fan. Stopped after that (except for sports games) but got into Halo on Xbox. Beat it on legendary which surprised every gamer in my family. Doesn't really play anymore unless he plays the Wii when my sister visits him.

Mom played Pac Man and Centipede. Stopped at SMB. Though she beat it before I could.

My dad always liked the PlayStation brand.

my mom plays the Wii. she actually had hers before i got mine. she plays all kinds of games for it. she recently beat Legend of Zelda (loved it), and is currently playing a couple of games, Animal Crossing and de Blob.

my dad is more of a PC gamer. he likes Real Time Strategy games and is currently hooked on Warcraft. i think he likes the PC the most because he can play those older strategy games on a dime. he gets WW2 strategy games for under $10 all the time.

i actually got them hooked on games with simple titles, like Mario Party, Animal Crossing and Mario Kart Double Dash for the GameCube. from there it's kinda taken off. my mom doesn't have a job now, so she spends her time doing three things... gardening, looking after the dog, and video games. it's kinda funny.
