7.5: Good.
Resume: Old school survival horror with "dated" design... YES, I love it! :D

It's an ace title. One of my favs of '09 so far.
I expect something similar on GS. Cursed Mountain feels like one of those games that everyone is gonna forget about in 2 weeks, similar thing happend with Race Pro earlier this year.

It's a very niche and obscure title. And btw, it has to be known to be forgotten.

Wow, 2 threads with a severe lack of posts? Good way to prove me wrong, Good Sir!
So should I hold you to your hype for WarDevil?
Better then I thought it would get. Not that interested, if I'm gping for a survival horror I'd stick with Dead Space or Shattered Memories.
Also, isn't that PSN only? :([QUOTE="Silent-Hal"]It seems like all the obscure, old-school survival horror games are going to the Wii these days. It's easy to understand why, though. What do the HD systems have other than Siren: Blood Curse? loco145
Nah, I imported it on Blu-ray.
Never heard of it,7.5 isnt something to write home about...was it even hyped? O.o just saying >_>Ratchet_Fan8I don't think it was hyped on System Wars but some people that bought it said it was really great.

You do know R&C: ToD is a 7.5 here, Ratchet-Fan8? Cursed Mountain is good. Stop trying to downplay 7.0-8.0's, fellas. There's no need to try to make your own definition as to what the score means.
Thought it'd be worse than that. Thought it looked distinctly lowbudget, with the only appealing thing about it being the unusual setting. I still think that, and it does seem to be the main draw, but apparently the rest of the game isn't too shabby.
This game reminds me of Deadly Creatures cuz it won't sell over 100k and evryone will forget about this game in couple of days after its release.Syferonik
It's a niche title from a small developer, so stating that it'll be "forgotten" isn't very risky. It's a huge success, however, that Cursed Mountain basically had no hype and is doing rather well. It's hilarious how many try to write it off despite it being a good game. What has happened to this industry?
a 7.5 from Matt? This game is destined to get a 5-6 on Gamespot.

7.5 on Gamespot. Lulz.

I envy you :P The only reviewers I "trust" are the Giant Bomb guys, because I'm familiar with them and their philosophies, and I know that they say what they mean in their reviews. But there are reviewers that I trust less and some that I trust more.
