You do know R&C: ToD is a 7.5 here, Ratchet-Fan8? Cursed Mountain is good. Stop trying to downplay 7.0-8.0's, fellas. There's no need to try to make your own definition as to what the score means.
Thought it'd be worse than that. Thought it looked distinctly lowbudget, with the only appealing thing about it being the unusual setting. I still think that, and it does seem to be the main draw, but apparently the rest of the game isn't too shabby.
I know many a 7.5's that have been a blast to play (You'd be a fool to pass up a 7.5 just cause of the score, 7.5 is still good), it seems to be a well made game just a little dated by todays standards, I don't have any interest in it but it looks like it may appeal to those looking for a good survival horror game. Also the hype for this game is pretty much none, it is known but very little hype.
This game reminds me of Deadly Creatures cuz it won't sell over 100k and evryone will forget about this game in couple of days after its release.Syferonik
It's a niche title from a small developer, so stating that it'll be "forgotten" isn't very risky. It's a huge success, however, that Cursed Mountain basically had no hype and is doing rather well. It's hilarious how many try to write it off despite it being a good game. What has happened to this industry?

I envy you :P The only reviewers I "trust" are the Giant Bomb guys, because I'm familiar with them and their philosophies, and I know that they say what they mean in their reviews. But there are reviewers that I trust less and some that I trust more.

After all these "incidents" happening everywhere, I just find it hard to trust online review websites (Though the Giant Bomb guys seem to be the most credible, I still keep in mind that they have ads) I usually just go by GameFaqs' detailed player reviews, since those almost never turn out biased.
