Those 30 minutes to install it will be well worth it once you notice the lack of loading time. 30 minutes is nothing...just find something else to do. Is it that hard?

You mean unless it makes the PS3 version sound way worse than the 360 version, right?

Well after installing a game for half an hour I would like a noticeably better experience in some way.
slightly better = nearly identical = what's the big difference?GARRYTH wrote:mrjam0 wrote:faster load times by fractions of a second. we dont carewhat about screen tearing sence the 360 fans laugh about the ps 3 mutiplats.

The PS3 gets a better multiplat. Yay! Now, go play your slightly better game.

IGN says NOTHING about textures being better on PS3 they also say NOTHING about no screen tearing on PS3. They say 360 has slightly MORE screen tearing.. >> which implies the PS3 version ALSO has screen tearing.
i don't care what version is better. i have all three consoles and i'm not even buying this game, but i hate these fanboyish lies.
posted a million times before.
"slighty better textures"??

[QUOTE="D0013ER"]It had better be at least slightly better, PS3 was the lead platform. :|_Dispair_
Really? I thought it was dev'd on PC?
yep. i think so too.
slightly better is ownage now?
This is just painful.
Though I suppose 360 fans have been just as guilty.

hmm from all the pics I have seen the 360 version looked better? o'well goes to show ya u can't trust fanboys lolchikenfriedrice
yes you can trust some of these sites (many sites showed this.). those pics showed bettr textures and better AA. nothing is being said about that. seems like they don't see a difference in the final version or they don't see it...

where? cause this is what they say:
''Like most multi-console games, any review would inevitably have to come down to which system is better, and for this instance, the PS3 winds up winning out just slightly. It's not in the gameplay department, because DMC4 plays the same regardless of which system that you play on. Nor is it in the visual department, because visual issues are virtually negligible. For example, the 360 has some harder edges to some characters during cutscenes, and a little more screen tearing than the PS3 at times. The PS3 can be a wee bit darker during some scenes, though. Both systems show off a certain amount of render passing that pops into focus on sweeping vista shots, but they occur at the same time on each system and are quickly dismissed''
yeah, but for those of us who have 7200 rpm HDD in our PS3s I'm sure the 30 min install is cut down significantly as will be the actually load times. I really hate load times myself, so If I can have a near-seamless experience (Uncharted comes to mind), I find it that much better. Peace. _sephex_Actually thats been proven false already, there's no clear advantage over a 5400 rpm HDD on the PS3.

where? answer or admit you were wrong
360 version will sell more copies. Regardless of the little quirks that were NO WHERE TO BE seen during the demo I played.thegame1980
Maybe, maybe not. I remember a poll on this forum asking which versions the forum users were going to buy and to my surprise the PS3 got way more votes than the 360 version. Considering that this game is pretty 'hardcore' this poll could very well be representative for the actual game sales.

That's what I heard, personally I'd rather wait up front than wait every time the game needs to read the disk.

It was dev'd on PC.
i played the demo on both machines so i could decide which to buy it for didnt notice hardly any difference prefered using the ps3 pad because it reminds me of the old DMC games i guess it comes down to weather it will be in 1080p on ps3 lately i have noticed alot of multiplats are 720p on ps3 and 1080p on 360 so i have baught the 360 ones

Me too, the only thing I don't like about this is that if installing games to the PS3's harddrive becomes the norm, what's the difference between this a low-powered computer? I bought my PS3/360 not only for the games that are exclusive to each, but also because consoles generally don't require installation of any sort (one of the biggest differences between console and PC gaming), and now all of a sudden, they do. Don't get me wrong; I'll still install the game, but like someone else already said, I wish they would've just put a faster BD-Rom drive in the PS3 to avoid this whole mess.
