Giant bomb confirms the same for those who don't trust IGN (Like I do)
Having spent a lot of time with both versions of L.A. Noire, the PlayStation 3 game is the clear-cut winner. Both versions of the game look fantastic, but there were a few instances of painful frame rate drops and objects drawing in too slowly on the Xbox that didn't exist on the PS3. Also, the shadows look a bit more jagged.

Ah well. I only have a 360 and I'm sure I'll still enjoy the game just as much.
If only there were a PC version. :(
Thats a shame, I only have an xbox so I have to get that version. Oh well, still sounds great :)

I'm sure it will be a great game, regardless if it performs better on ps3.Ah well. I only have a 360 and I'm sure I'll still enjoy the game just as much.

To any cows that want to make this seem like a big deal, here's what they also said at the end of the review, a part the TC conveniently omitted from his OP.
"It's not enough to take away from the game..."
So it's not really a big deal. Just slight differences.

Don't get me wrong, the news that the PS3 version is slightly better isn't dampening my excitement at all. In fact, it is actually higher after this first wave of very positive reviews; especially GB giving it a good score. And to be fair, Brad goes on to say this in his review:
"This is splitting hairs since, both games look good enough that you should just get the one on the platform you prefer..."

360 has higher standards
LMAO! How does inferiority make it have higher standards?
IGN did say that Crysis 2 on the 360 was the console graphics kingI'm as big a cow as they come, but I'll always say, minute differences in multiplats only make a difference if you are playing the game, simultaneously side by side on both consoles, or at 1 fps. Now exclusives are a whole differnt ballgame.

As with most other games. The fb blow it out of propotion.
I bet you that you couldn't tell the difference unless the games were side by side so it doesn't matter. People need to get over these things. It's not like a PS2 vs Xbox graphics here where Xbox's were way better. The difference is so minimal. If we are talking about a difference in performance that's as big as ghostbusters or beyonetta, then we have a problem.
[QUOTE="BigBoss255"]What a great week!!!. PSN returns and we get we're .5 up on the 360. Celebration is needed.PAL360
Im pretty sure both versions got 9.0 :|
I'm pretty sure he was referring to the score IGN gave the graphics for the two games. Not hard to misinterpret that post, really. :|I can't stand performance hits. I've always preferred lower res to maintain performance. They should have dropped the 360 version to 320x240 so it could compete with cell processor.

Well isn't normally the case between the PS3 and 360 versions. Of course the fanboys would like to blow it up into something bigger than it is. I enjoyed RDR on my PS3 and thought is was a beutiful game and I will do the same with LA Noire. I buy most of my multiplats on the PS3 as that is my preferred gaming machine. The graphics in most cases don't swing me one way of the other.
It is kind of funny to see the changes in reactions sometime.
A game that's lead on the PS3 ends up looking better on PS3 and people say.
"Well duh PS3 was lead platform.
Yet people always make a big deal when a multiplat is better on 360 when the 360 version is always the lead platform, lol.

Tc, you need to report things right.
"The Xbox 360 version has a few performance issues. While both versions have occasional framerate issues, L.A. Noire on X360 has more notable problems. It's not enough to take away from the game, but if choosing between the two, PS3 has fewer technical issues."
LMAO, lemmings over at GameFAQs are saying that we won't be able to download the exclusive DLC due to the PSN store being down... despite it being on the disc!

Actually, it isn't on disc, so yes, you will have to wait. Meanwhile, I can download the exclusive case I get for preordering at GameStop right away on my 360. :lol:LMAO, lemmings over at GameFAQs are saying that we won't be able to download the exclusive DLC due to the PSN store being down... despite it being on the disc!
