Wii has a way of continuously suprising me. I think by virtue of its motion controls it can make average games good and good games great if the developers have the talent, vision and dedication to accurately apply the new control scheme.

I was expecting high 7 or low 8 so this is good. By the end of the year the graphics and controls will be down by most devs and a regular flow of good scores like this will follow.

Well Rockstar is making Manhunt 2 Wii the definitive version... could be GTA Wii comming around the corner...

Nice. I honestly am looking for a new Wii game and I need something a bit more serious to go along side Super Paper Mario and Zelda is driving me crazy at the moment so that's being given a break. That and I need some straight up action so I'll most likely be picking this up.
Scarface sucked on the Xbox and PS2 so I cant believe that score.wooooode
Keep in mind that IGN gave the sucky Scarface on XBox/PS2 an 8.7 (for reference GS gave it something like a 6.4) so this 8.5 Scarface for the Wii is hardly anything to write home about.
And I agree, the original wasn't very good. I have no idea why they dig it so much.

That's usually what happens when a game gets ported over a year late.
No what SHOULD happen is you have an extra year to improve and iron out flaws and add in a Wii-mote for more immersive play, you should outscore your aging predecessors.One year later and it still scored lower?
Keep in mind, this game should have had every chance and reason to be much improved. I am still waiting to see how the Wii-mote is "revolutionary".
