Umm, did you guys bother to read the article? IGN didn't say "it looks like a PS2 game", seriously, stop doing what the awful, pathetic fanboys at N4G are doing.......Unless, you're one of them :roll:

First off, this article is based on a 6 hours impression of the game....6 out of a 40 hours game :| I'll wait for the updated impressions.

Secondly, his gripes are with the in-game animation...and that's what he referred to as something from a PS2. The visuals themselves are good...afterall, it's the UE3.

Personally, I'm pretty disappointed with the technical issues but according to the impressions posted by Japanese players at Gamersyde and NeoGAF, the overall game is pretty good.

Yeah, he was talking about the animation engine, not the graphics. SquareEnix has been using similar animation engines since the PS1 days. :lol: So this isn't a big deal really. The U.S. version of the game isn't even done yet. Things make be improved for the release in the U.S. Let's just wait and see.
