I see alot of people blaming "ignorant" consumers for the fact that the Wii is trumping the 360 and PS3

Why not blame Sony and MS?

E3 was a perfectly good chance for them both to show some big new game announcements,

and yet all we saw from them is games that were already announced...

in the mean time Nintendo announced one big new game in MarioKart, and what's going to be a HUGE new non gaming IP in WiiFit...

If MS and Sony are to have any chance against the beast that is Nintendo they're going to have to try alot harder than this.

I think you are the only one on that ship buddy, Nintendo had a horrible showing I expected a lot from Nintendo they do notgive a darn about the hardcore gamers at all they just want to stack up the casual market with a bunch of popcorn games, well good luck with that my friend.

Honestly, I don't really care about many of Wii's games right now but I still love playing it. It's just that, not a lot of games interest me that are coming up in the next year or so.firestorm91

There have been so many killer Wii games anounced lately it's rediculous. People on system wars have about a 2 day memory.

1 game does not reach out when 25 others are ok to horribly poor games. There needs to be equal balance and nintendo doesn't get that. They figure they will give you 1 game and you will sit and beg for more 6 months later.

Please, they need to make it equal because this E3 was awful for them.

I know, eh? One little press conference and it's the sign of the apocalypse. Wii Fit is just one game in sea of awesomeness that is SMG, MP3, and SMB:B. Plus, it's not even going to be out until next year. I still don't get why everyone is so worried.

MS has a conference in about 2 months called X07, they were probably waiting for their 2008 titles to be announced then.

Honestly, Besides Mario Galaxy and Fire Emblem Nintendo has nothing for me, a long time old-school "Core Gamer" that buys 30-50 games a year.

Smash Bros. is a pile of dookie best saved for drunken multiplayer and Metroid is too much of a shooter now for me to even care when I can play better ones on my other consoles.

Oh, and there's more to E3 than just the press conference. This hands on that IGN had, the one sending them into fits of ecstasy, is from E3.

Again you have to research good Wii games because we don't hype up crappy games just because they look pleasing.
