Yeah im eager to play the new and improved controls for the Metroid franchise. I just wish MP3's graphics were a little bit better. They just look a little too "dated" imo. And yeah I know that the Wii isn't a super powerful console but I assume its capable of better graphics than that.EnergyAbsorber

Have you seen Metroid Prime 2's graphics? The screenshots are awful-looking, but in game on an HDTV they look amazing. I could hardly believe I was playing a Gamecube game... Metroid Prime 3 will probably look better in motion too.

Imagine if they actually did a metroid prime for the PC. Mouse and keyboard control and amazing direct X 10 visuals. Would be so much better.

Although im sure it will still be a great game on Wii.

But if any PC gamer wishes - or has a Wii, they can hook up their wiimote to their PC - and use it to play FPS....

But still MP3 looks quite noice, but I personally dont see it as a killer FPS - even with motion controls............ Bring on UT3 and Crysis!

i rather play with the wiimote. much mire intuitive than mouse and keyboard (sounds really ridiculous when you think about it.. mouse and keyboard for a shooter..).

But i'd like the 720P DirectX10 visuals!!!!

No one is attempting to say more accurate. However more immersive is definitely a fair and justified opinion. The Metroid games have always been about immersion through the atmosphere so the wiimote'll work good.

Those are games and they are catering to gamers. I guess Sony has disgustingly loyal fanbase to buy the sequel to Killzone score 6.9, another sequel FF13, MGS4, Ratchet and Clank, Teken 6, GT5. Or a lemmings Halo 3, Forza 2, Fable 2, PGT 4 ect.

So Nintendo gamers aren't gamers because the have abeloved set ofseries on their console, nice leap of logic.

still, the graphics are horrible for a current gen game. they may be good for a wii game, but that doesn't mean much. the game would be more immersive if the graphics were better.

Not really because in theory they are the same. In practise there hasn't been a game to show it on wii. Maybe MP3 is the one.

The game would be more immersive and atmospheric if the graphics were better but last gen isn't horrible or else you're blind. Have you played Ninja Gaiden on 360? Yeah it's last gen game and it looks next gen.

You guys have no idea how excited I am for this game!!!!! Amongst all the others I have in mind, Assassins Creed, Smash Bros, Halo 3, Killzone 2, Bioshock etc, this game, ladies & gentlemen is IMO the pinnacle of what Wii can offer as far as gameplay goes, and perhaps even graphics. Apart from my own impressions, you have those major publications glorifying it, with 1 even saying "...it definitely could change the way we play FPSs for the better!!!" Even though I recognize it as a FPA, I think I understand what they're saying.

How about new IP's like assasins Creed, Drakes fortune, MAss Effect and Bioshock....oh wait they are not coming to Wii. In fact what new IP hardcore game has Nintendo announced.....Nintetendo has forgotten about gamers but not it's fanbase, all of those are 1st party.

The main thing I hate about kb/m FPS games is you can't control movement speed with WASD. Yeah you can run or walk but not really control it. This game will rectify that with a left analog not to mention still have a superior method of aiming than a right anaolog. WIN.Spartan070
