Because Capcom said it would be exclusive, even when reports on the XBL and PSN network versions where released.

Exclusive or not, MM9 will be the purest form of awesome anyone has ever created.

And MM1 and 2 for the VC? I might get those even though I own the collection.

IM an old school MM fan and im not to happy with this. Also when they said they wanted the old MM back im pretty sure they meant in the gameplay and fun department. They could have upped the visuals and kept everything els the same. No one freaked out when BCR was shown. Since it kept the same old great gameplay,but with a nicer look. Its like they found the old nes code and thought *ching ching* easy money.

Yes, Mega Man 8 for the Sega Saturn is easily in my top 100 games of all time. Going with NES graphics makes no sense at all. At least go the MM7 route. Oh well MM9 is probably gonna bomb now. I've been waiting for it for 10 years too.

I doubt it will bomb. Mainly because everyone has been burned by alot of MM games recently and they know that this one will offer some good and fun gameplay. Yea they didint even go with a MM7 route. I mean come on. Can they at least try.

From what I have been told in the new Nintendo Power Inafune stated he really wanted to do another 8-bit MegaMan. What he wants he gets.
