Sometimes I just love N4G because the community promotes what topics are relevant and they never hide their sensitive feelings during times of crisis. In this case the most shocking of news is the lead story.... Hang on to something, because this will BLOW.... YOU...... AWAY!

In an attempt to keep recent ign interviews from looking like library time with Ryan Mccaffrey, IGN told the folks in attendance to clap and cheer during moments of the interview...even going as far as saying most enthusiastic cheering gets prizes. Lol. 😂

Well... Naturally it didn't play well when Phil Spencer was asked about studio closings and the ign crowd started cheering. Double lol🤣

This riveting piece of "news" is clearly a sign of Microsoft being in the illuminati and likely threatening Mccaffreys first born if applause wasn't heard thunderous to the sound of "Tango is closed!"

Or... Ign is just a silly media outlet looking to control the optics and energy so that they look like and enthusiastic, hungry bunch of gamers.

It was MSs and other interviews so I wouldn't be calling shenanigans or blatant favouritism or anything.

Ultimately Gaming media/journalism (if it can be called that) is entertainment first, everything else secondary business. IGN and co are just as much a marketing promotion firm as they are a source of reviews.

So not a big deal. It would be a big deal if they were saying "Cheer for MS content, boo and condemn non MS content" but that doesn't seem to be the case.

So nothing burger for me anyway.
