Well don't get used to it because not many other shooters will achieve even passable controls. All Wii FPS's up to this point have been terrible.

HAHA, just because a guy says it plays better than any other in the genre (which it's not in it's FPA) doesn't make the game hardcore. The game videos look boring as hell and i don't want to hear about this game anymore. Stop trying sheep.

Besides, Matt Assamania is married to a Nintendo PR exec. Conflict of interest much? I never trust a word that guy says. If 1UP, GameSpot, G4 and IGN ALL say it, I'll believe it.

Real problem for me is the new linear level design and that they're really focusing on shooting, essentially turning an adventure game into an FPS with crappy graphics (compared to shooters on the other two) and zero online component.

Moving on, this is where the wii-mote shines. I havent played it yet (obviously), so i cant say whether i agree with such a bold statement. But, i expect big things from this.Though one game proves nothing about the general focus of the company. When a company gives 20 mins to a non-game it should worry anyone, and from the looks of it, you're a little insecure.

You can lock the screen to a target but you still aim with the remote. I dont really like how you can move the crosshair all over thescreen without moving the camera. The gun should always point dead center like PC FPS's.

Why didn't that guy mention MP2 bad AI and last gen everything???I never understand these control talk because i play any game witin 10 mins u get use to playing thqat u don't even remember the control is in ur hand.For example, i played Half life 2 on 360 then played RB6.They have different controls, but after while u get use to it.When i just started i press the wrong botton a couple of times, but hey.

welcome to yesterday. and yes. ofcourse the wiimote is 100 x more intuitive than any weird dual thumbstick controller....furtherfan

I played HalfL2,rb6, and the darkness on my 360 and had no complains at all.I feel more comfortable with a control with an anolog thenthe wii mote.

that's because you got used to it. the mind easily adapts. i'm fine with my 360 controller too. best old gen controller there is.

But if you would have started playing fps games at the same time with the 360m controller and the wiimote, the outcome of that test would be easy to predict.

Not in this thread, but in anotherthread posted about half an hour ago, it got bashed for not meeting 360/PS3 standards

It's all about learning from other companies sucesses. If Metroid prime can achieve this level of control then the other publishers/developers will do the same. Plus the controls on other FPSers have been getting progressivly better leading up to MP3.

Yes but targets are able to break the targeting lock after a few seconds or you might not be able to lock on at all (due to technology of who you are fighting against) I believe. Meaning you have to manually aim once that happens.

Yeah. Its so awesome they include a massive multiplayer experience.
