The reason this is being bash is because the rhythm genre is being milked like crazy. For other genres, it's System Wars. What else do you expect?

When you're actually able to play an instrument, those kinds of games are way less appealing.

Does it matter if its made by electronics? No it matters that it sounds good and it has lyrical quality (at least the rappers I like to listen to)

I'm going to have to agree with this. I don't play these types of games often but it's definitely a different experience then playing a real guitar. Remember, the ideas are all based off of "kick, punch, it's all in the mind-". Still, with DJ Hero I really just want a individual soundtrack release since I can't afford to actually buy DJ Hero at this time.

The game is published by Activision and has "Hero" in the title, so it's clearly a cheap shallow rehash that was only made because Bobby Kotick wanted more money.

nah i havent saved room for another piece of plastic but rather i have set aside space in my room for a half stack and a little rack for the 3 basses i own xD much better :P so no i wont be saving room for more plastic crapola i wont use much i mean RB drumkit takes up space i could use for more bass gear lol.
