Yet another superior Xbox 360 multiplat.-Tretiak
Yep, I didn't read the review yet to find out what the differences are.

Yep, I didn't read the review yet to find out what the differences are.
In the summary they say the PS3 version suffers from aliasing and framerate issues.
Yeh I just saw it.
"The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are almost identical, save two things. The PS3 features some limited Sixaxis control. You can maneuver your board with tilts and do powerslides by pulling up. It's pretty much useless though and is off by default for good reason. The other difference, unfortunately, is one that has become commonplace among EA's multiplatform titles. skate on PS3 is the cross-eyes sister to the 360 version. There's a lot of aliasing issues and the game in general is blurry (possibly to hide some of the jaggies). The framerate, which is perfect on 360, is choppy on PS3. It isn't enough to affect the gameplay, but it's certainly noticeable."

Maybe Microsoft should pay EA to say "Inferior multiplats can only be done on the PS3."

Framerate issues on the PS3, no way!

not really...
Another half done job by the developers, more proof that they are too lazy to even tweak the graphics so the game will play just as good on one console as it does on the other. But the Sixaxis thing is stupid, it's too much like the Wiimote and how developers never bothered to get serious with it and are only now making attempts to do something new with it, the same should be done with Sixaxis. If you do not like the Wiimote or Sixaxis, both consoles are capable of using standard dual analog controllers for games, don't just tack stuff on, stupid developers.DSgamer64Yeah. It kinda sucks. I think developers are hesitant to release a game for the Wii that doesn't use the Wiimote, because most Wii-owners probably don't have a GC controller or a classic controller, and nongamers (most Wii owners) really like the Wiimote.
Yet another game I have to buy...that makes 12.
If I procrastinate less, I can probably get them all by 2026.
I'm oddly attracted to this game. Haven't given a crap about skating games since the very first Tony Hawk, and even then I was only playing the demo. I'll probably prioritize away this game until the price has dropped though. There's too many great games this fall. Bioshock and Warhawk already purchased. Stranglehold, World in Conflict, Halo 3, Crysis, Kane & Lynch, Mass Effect, Call of Duty 4, Uncharted and Rock Band to go. Sorry skate.
It's spelled "skate." btw. Cause it's edgy n ****.

Im actually playing Bioshock which is a bloody good game shame theres no such thing on the PS3 but also on the pc which plenty are also playing.
Edited. I've never heard of ps2 breaking down.

Should'nt be a surprise.
Higher than I was expecting, I think this will give Tony Hawk a run for it's money.
