Always looked boring as hell to me, is pretty meh in the lighting department too.

I guess this isn't going to outsell Madden.

Not bad, about the kinds of scores I was expecting. The campaign sounds a bit short, though. I still plan to pick it up, but I may hold off for a few weeks and get it used.

Yeah, the graphics in this latest iteration of Wolfenstein have been the most unspectaculer graphics I have ever seen produced by id tech 4. Even Doom 3 on ultra settings with the highest resoultion looks much better than this. Too bad they couldn't have used id tech 5. The environments would have at least looked more high res.

I thought the reviews would be higher considering it's about as generic as a FPS can be.

I'm not surprised with the score. I'll still buy the game, but probably not until the holidays when I have a little more cash and/or it drops a bit in price.

Expected worse.

It met teh hype since some people were expecting lower than that score.

Man i wish they had gone really creative and crazy with this, i mean what did they have to loose? Its just another call of duty clone.. great who wants to play that? What if they made it a fast paced corridor all out shooter like the original was? I wish they had just done something different, instead of regenerating health, standard weapons, zoom in to shoot, grenades.. bla.. If they had done something like idk, just made it all on a flat plane looking for keys inside of a grey castle, or show your hud at the bottom of the screen with your health percentage and your guys face, bullets, ect. idk anything to make this resemble the style of the old wolfenstein.. not some just pile of forgettable meh

I don't think they should have made it like the original Wolfenstein 3D, but yeah, I agree that they should have made Wolfenstein stand out a bit more from the likes of COD and MOH. I mean, it just feels like it's COD only with more gore and a lot more sci-fi elements. They should have given it its own style and feel.

Not only that, they left out some of the most awesome guns from RTCW. Heck, they even left out the chaingun which was in Wolfenstein 3D! What the heck Raven? Yeah, the flame thrower is cool and so is the telsa gun, but what about the Venom gun and the FG42?

It got a BBFC rating in the UK so I wasn't going to buy it anyway.
