I dont understand why they even bothered with a singleplayer... I mean, its not like they had any new compelling ideas they wanted to bring to the table that they thought was going to be worth putting all this time and effort in... Why didn't they just put all the time they spent on that and put it into the multiplayer?.. Thats all anyone cares about in socom anyways....

I honestly have no idea why they would give a great game like Socom 4 a 7, lol wow some people are just impossible to impress. Socom 4 is a great improvement over the previous Socoms, and confrontation of all games, was awful, yet i would give that a 7. Socom 4 should have got a 9 at least.
How did Halo reach or odst or whatever the new halo game score higher, thats much more terrible than socom, id say Halo is the worst shooter franchise ever made.

Socom US Flopping Seals

5.0 Presentation The story is unimpressive, and cliché. Five dudes vs. all of Southeast Asia.

7.0 Graphics The character models are amazing, but everything else varies from good to mediocre.

8.5 Sound Voice acting is well done, and the weapon sounds and explosions are awesome.

7.0 Gameplay The campaign is short, but fun squad-based gameplay. Too easy on anything but the harder difficulties.

7.5 Lasting Appeal Multiplayer is fun, even with the limited game modes. There are plenty of options to match your play style.

The reviewer himself said he really likes the MP and enjoys the gameplay. He just wanted more modes and he said hte story stunk.

Socom was a decent series last gen but for with the new higher standards of this gen its crap can't compete with the likes of call of duty black ops which is perhaps the greatest game ever made.DJ_Headshot
